For me, muscle twitching is a clear sign of anxiety. Of course there's 50 other symptoms that come and go. My nervous system tells me it's revved up and oversensitive by making twitching occur everywhere in my body. From arm to thigh to buttock to eyelid to calf etc, plus my ears ring loudly the moment CFS anxiety flares up. It's only by responding in a calm manner (tough to do some days),that it eases off.

Thanks for sharing! A lot of the symptoms you don't need to do anything, you just need to leave them be and they go away on their own! Have a look at these videos to get a better understanding of what's going on and how the body is trying to recalibrate itself. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jGl2xpiufcLVh6g.html Also, here's a playlist I created that will help you deal with symptoms if you're looking for more info on specifics: kzread.info/head/PLJT8-UVmfsmKHgGkCQPKkmHgZL11LqvJa

@@cfsrecovery Thank you much! And I'll have a look at those links you gave me. I keep a daily routine of wellness steps (baby steps), and watching these videos, and reading that other people do indeed have recovery, keeps me going. Ups, downs, is what life consists of, a roller coaster of sorts (or a merry go round some days!), and when I can accept the day for what it is, the symptom for what it is, I do feel better. Thanks again.

Thank you for speaking to the dreams! Then you wake up feeling like you fought a bear. And night sweats when i have them, then more muscle twitching and jerking and pain cause I've been clenching muscles all night

Boy do I relate. Your comment sounds like my story. I think I view my 2 steps forward 2 steps back experience as getting better. Granted it's a slow process, I will happily go with having at least some days/nights of feeling better. It was a bonus when I had a couple weeks of improved energy (even though I had very little sleep). I watch these vids and read how folks feel better in time, and it keeps that piece of hope going. ❤hoping you feel well soon🙏🏼😌

Wanted to say you're not alone in the awful/bizarre dreams. This is what I think happens to me: I think my dreams are uncomfortable because my sleep (I have insomnia) is often very low quality, and because a very sensitive sympathetic nervous system is prone to creating disturbing dream images/sensations. I view my dreams as a temporary discomfort and I write down any nights that I sleep well, that way it gives me continued hope for better future sleep/dreams. ❤🙏🏼

    HOW CAN WE SLEEP BETTER??

The insomnia and bad sleep are SO hard to cope with. I think it's my #1 most difficult symptom. Miguel's video on insomnia helped me at least feel a bit less alone in this struggle. We're strong people, and we're going to get through this thing.🙏🏼
