Thousand Trails Orlando RV Resort Tour and Review Part 1

With approximately 1,000 RV sites, TTO has full hookups with 30/50 amp electrical at each one! This is a first come, first served park. During peak season, though, there is a staging process involved that ends with you being escorted by a golf cart to your site after they determine your needs and wants (and they try their very best to meet those). This park is situated on Lake Hancock, and is home to many species of animals, including endangered gopher tortoises and sandhill cranes (not to mention, alligators and snakes). With its close proximity to renowned theme parks such as Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and more, TTO is a very popular destination. The resort is open year-round and is easily accessible from Florida Highway 27, and it is conveniently located about 30 minutes southwest of Orlando’s metropolitan area.
This park is so large, we decided to do this first video showing you as many of the sites as we could, and also discussing TTO's rules and regulations. We will be making a second video to show you the amenities such as the Rec Center, pool and hot tub, fitness center, pickleball courts... just so many things to see!
We make these videos primarily for our own pleasure, and hope that you enjoy them as much as we do making them!

▶︎ WHO WE ARE
We are the Nichters, and this is Our Crazy RV Life! We sold everything we could, and gave away the rest, just so we could live in a 28' RV travel trailer with our dog, Bailey.
You see, we had a dream. We wanted to be free of the "normal" expectations that most Americans have. You know, that so-called American dream of owning a beautiful home on a cul de sac, going on expensive vacations once a year, and otherwise living to work. We wanted to turn that into living in a home on wheels, being able to pick up and go whenever we wanted, and working to live life the way we want. This way, we can plan on Jeff retiring in just a couple of years instead of working until he can't physically do it anymore.
Come along with us as we immerse ourselves in Our Crazy RV Life!

Thank you for this video. This by far the most in depth video on TTO that we have ever seen. I am heartbroken that we will not be staying here again. It is our "happy place" .

Way too many people camping in a big paved parking lot IMHO. I can't imagine the PITA of driving to the disney parks and coming back to a line of people trying to get back to their camping site. OMG. When I think of RV Resort, I think of wide open grass, trees, lots of trees, space between spots, and attractive amenities. This looks like the parking lot of Disney World, but with hooks ups. LOL>

Great review! Do you know if there are any extra site charges for 50 amp? I’m a member but sometimes get charged extra because I have a 50 amp powered rig.

Thank for the video. Is there a limit time to stay? Could some live there and pay rent each month. Soory the dumb questions.
