A testament to the power of live music! No wonder the churches use it.
I sang this with my choir for a competition event, but this piece was sung by all the competing choirs as one massive choir. It felt so wonderful to hear the sounds of the gospel echoing through the theater!
Last month our high school choir had the privilege of singing this song at Carnegie Hall. I choke up every time we sing it because it's so beautiful. The majestic acoustics at Carnegie and the beauty of the song made me choke up even more. Teary-eyed even.

You do it a different kind of justice. Put your hearts and souls into it, and you will be doing it the justice that you can. And thank you for doing it too! :)
i am speechless...... magnificent
Wonderful! Thank's a lot! God Bless You!
Beautiful. The tune reminds me of "The Water is Wide".
Nice way to appreciate their music, love it, just made my day
Beautifully done !
such a beautiful song!!!
Thou gracious God, whose mercy lends the light of home, the smile of friends our gathered flock thine arms enfold as in the peaceful days of old. Wilt thou not hear us while we raise in sweet accord of solemn praise the voices that have mingled long in joyous flow of mirth and song? For all the blessings life has brought for all the sorrowing hours have taught for all we mourn, for all we keep the hands we clasp, the loved that sleep. The noontide sunshine of the past these brief, bright moments fading fast the stars that gild our darkening years the twilight ray from holier spheres. We thank thee, Father; let thy grace our loving circle still embrace thy mercy shed its heavenly store thy peace be with us evermore. Thy mercy shed its heavenly store thy peace be with us evermore. Evermore! Evermore! Amen! Amen! Amen!
THIS IS GOD'S CHOIR ON THE WORLD!

Word!
Thank you for having a metatag (or whatever) for "The Water is Wide", because that's what I was searching for (and "O Waly, Waly") as performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Glad I got to this stirring performance. It's in my favorites now.
This is so amazing! After conference, I rushed out to buy the sheet music for this! It would have been nice to have the bagpipes at the beginning, but oh well...
I love love this song!!!! I am super excited about this channel!!!
hi there,love your music
I sang this song in my choir
😊👍👍👍👍👍
that is one big organ
It is "The Water is Wide".
The text is by Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., rather than Jr.
I can't find this beautiful hymn in the LDS Hymnbook.
