The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," a popular song for Choir performances and tours. Arranged by Mack Wilberg.
Lyrics:
Come, thou Fount of ev'ry blessing,
Tune my heart to sing thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above;
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
Mount of thy redeeming love.
Here I raise my Ebenezer,
Hither by thy help I'm come;
And I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Prone to wander Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wand'ring from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed his precious blood.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.
O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above,
Seal it for thy courts above.

    I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I have listened to imams teach and preachers from other faiths, and I agree with you that when truth is spoken the Spirit of the Lord attends those words and touches the hearts of those who are listening with their hearts and minds, and causes one to feel the love of God. It is wonderful.

    I'm a Catholic & in my childhood years (80 yrs) ago I can still hear the beautiful voices of the nuns, my teachers. The Tabernackle Choir beautiful & wonderful to listen to. Thank you. I wish the said Choir's music could be played over the air on our radios and or one of our TV channels. It would make life worth while & something to look forward to hearing.

    I was lucky enough to be able to sing in the newer conference center (across the street from the tabernacle) when I was about 20. It was astounding. I didn't sing with the Tabernacle choir, just a regional church choir. But it was humbling to sing where they sing. It was breathtaking.

There is a deep and abiding spirituality at work in the way that this choir touches hearts and souls.

    I am a Mormon who struggles with mental illness. Whenever I feel as if I may lose it or just want to scream, songs like this one- especially this one, as it is my favorite- calm me down and help me breathe again. A good cry, a reminder that I am loved and back to dealing with life and motherhood!

    Hello, May I keep you in my prayers? Mental illness is a difficult thing to deal with - for the person who suffers from it but also for those around that person. But the Lord Jesus accepts us as we are, when we come to Him in faith. I greatly urge you to leave the cult of Mormonism, and to plant yourself in an evangelical church, where a healthy view of the Lord Jesus and the Gospel is preached. This will be a large part of your healing, friend.

We are married 65 years and she has now passed from this mortal to the eternal world and is now waiting for me to join her soon in our Father's Kingdom. That is an anticipation of joy to come when we are together again forever. Oh my God, my Father and Savior Jesus Christ thank you that I found the truth the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a former Baptist minister and the son of a Baptist minister, 52 years ago we both were led to read the Book of Mormon which then led us to take the discussions from the missionaries. When I hear this I think of my loved ones who now sing with perfect voices and I long to join them. When they sing the beautiful lyrics of “ Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above!” I feel such immense love and power from that. And I am reminded of the beautiful day when my husband and I were sealed in the San Antonio Temple in Texas. I know my husband and my family are sealed to Heavenly Father and his courts above. As long as we keep our covenants and repent. My heart is literally sealed to his courts above ❤️
