Despite his limited screen time Thor’s presence was massive, easily one of the most compelling characters in the game

I love that "Look into my eyes. You tell me" he gives Heimdall. Heimdall can sense people's intentions, meaning that Thor was inviting him to sense the world of hurt he had waiting for him if he kept pushing it.

Thor’s character is so well rounded in his two “we are destroyers” at the beginning and at the end

He is a viking and theyre all about battle.

Thor was far from perfect, and far from an ideal husband or father. But he loved those he held dear, and did everything in his power to protect them from harm. He didn't want his only daughter to end up like her older brothers, Magni and Modi. He believed that somewhere deep down, Odin cared for him, and didn't see him as just a mindless brute and a punching bag. I believe that Kratos saw Thor as his equal towards the end. Both solely wanting to protect their children from the horrors of Godhood. And Thor, in the end, understood and redeemed himself. Ryan Hurst did such a great job potraying such a emotionally complex character.

When Oden killed Thor it was like when Zues killed Kratos in GoW 2.

Idk why I cried after watching this. Thor is my favourite character in the game. I don't care what anyone says, this Thor is the best Thor ever.

Damn, Thor deserved to live. In the end he was finally able to get out of his fathers grip but got killed right when his redemption had only started. But I suppose it it's a reminder that not everyone is fortunate enough to live through and make amends.

Most accurate Thor in terms of the mythology in any game or movie I have seen yet! I loved how they depicted him and showcased his development, it was sad to see him get betrayed by his own father when he finally came to his own conclusion. Amazing video brother!

he was mostly miserable thats why he doesn't hold back he knows he still has family but he's often depressed and mentally exhausted to really see that there's still people who care about him.

*It's ironic because Thor is literally like the young version of Kratos from the old games. So, it's like Kratos was looking in a mirror when he fought him. But this time it's different, Kratos is different... So, it didn't end the same way for Thor.*

Thor is a Kratos that given his life and mind to Zeus, he is accepted to being the pawns of the god and tool. ares and Kratos but since Odin never killed His family he had no reason to betrayal him and become a blind tool for his Father and when he opened his eyes, he was killed. You can even noticed that Odin offered Thor mead at the start, question if he sober and such. Odin manipulated Thor for most of his life, egging on the Drunk Monster he becomes.

You know, when I played the game, I paralleled him with the young Kratos. Because the Young Kratos was a destroyer, just like Thor, The God of Thunder.

Nvm the comment on the Kratos video, MAN THIS IS A PERFECT TRIBUTE TO HURST'S THOR, it genuinely shows how much of a troubled soul he is, whether it's his family losing hope in him, being treated like a simple dumb yet very effective tool by Odin, or losing his sons. It all simply culminates in Kratos clashing with him and showing him there's more to life and that redemption is in fact a possibility, goodness man I seriously love these games.

I am a time traveler and I came here from the future in the year 2107 to say that this video is a masterpiece that will last forever and we are here still watching it with enjoyment.

I love God of War for it's morally grey setting, it's not just, all gods suck. They all are heroes and villains in their own ways

Probably the best representation of Thor in all media, really great job man!

I wish they had let Thor live but as a wounded warrior e.g loss of his hand so he can’t hold Mjolnir. This would allow for Thors’s and Thrud’s relationship to develop and progress and allow Thor the opportunity to earn her forgiveness and be the Husband Sif needed and the father Thrud deserved.

To Rahul Prasade, yep. I feel like Kratos would’ve been a destroyer rather than a destroyer of his problems and homeland if he had served the gods. Basically turning into Thor in the process. Killing everything for them, with the most powerful being in their fictional world.

I think Thor is like Kratos, both are combat god, Thor is manipulate by his father, both would protect their children, both lost their children (Caliope) and both are haunted by their past action. Kratos able to accept his past deed and move on to be a better man for Atreus.

He and Baldur Along with Magni and Modi were the greatest victims in Odin's hands,damn Odin,I hate him so much he has no forgiveness And it's good that he died... 🥺😔 For what he did and very sad Thor's family is all broken I really wanted to see others Childrens and Grandchildren of Odin in this game like: Meili,Hodr,Hermod,Ullr,Iduna,Vali,Vidar,Bragi,Forseti And Nanna Who are Baldur's wife and son along with Odin's brothers Vili and Ve Who knows in the next game they may appear and have the gods who died return and I think Odin,Baldur and Thor will return and it would be madness if Odin manipulated everything and still be alive And he was Durlin and Mimir in disguise and he manipulated everything from the beginning to the end and he was with us this whole time watching from our side It's him Being the villain of the 3rd game again or Atreus/Loki being the villain of the 3rd game And have the ultimate father vs son fight to the death And kratos dying at the hands of Atreus and having a connection with the 1st game that kratos says that he would leave his son kill him to save him or else a legacy/staff pass and Atreus keeping kratos' weapons 🤔🤯😎👍like and Bye!
