Laconic is literally what Kratos is. The word comes from his people. The Spartans. Also known as Laconia. Of which Sparta was the capital. The Spartans were known for their… short terse answers. Famous for them even. When the king of Persia said if he were to March into Sparta he’d sac the city and be able to take it the Spartans replied with only a single word. “IF”. That’s laconic in a nutshell.

@@calamityknyte Maybe that's another reason we couldn't go see them. Unlike the Fates, the Norns are mortal and make mistakes in their predictions of the future, and they didn't exactly like that they made a poor judgement call, and too prideful to admit it. Alternatively this may have been their plan all along. Maybe they knew Kratos could change if he had that little push to do so by the Norns' guidance. If it weren't for them he wouldn't have known about Heimdal, kill him, and so on afterwards. Not wanting to see him could be because they have no more need to interfere in his life.

Hmmm...I think Kratos did try to cook meat with his blades before, otherwise he wouldn't have told Mimir that they would foul the meat due to the blood, and what's funnier is that Mimir didn't catch that.
