@@Navhkrin It felt short because of the amount of time they wasted on people crying, and the weaker repetition. I'm not entirely sure why, but bad writing has become a major factor of modern Hollywood. Just sex, crying, repetition, virtue signaling, shallow, empty relationships, .etc. Shows like Riverdale get boiled down to 10 minutes of watchable content per episode. Shows just seem shorter when you're seeing stuff that you've already seen. Though in the case of Riverdale, I just skip all the redundant content. Thor is actually kinda smart in the comics. His feats include: -is a heir to a kingdom of very advanced cosmic race that uses incredible technology and magic in their daily life. Sure, Thor wasn't depicted as a technician or a wizard, but you can't just live in a techno-magical society for 1500+ years and NOT pick up at least some bits of knowledge here and there, even if you don't want to. Same with stuff from other technology or culture from other realms, which Thor oftenly visits. -depending on source, Thor either speaks the impressively universal and mind boggling "All-tongue" or at some point just memorized pretty much every language of every race of nine realms and many other spoken alien dialects (there are MANY of them in Marvel). Either way, he can start communicating with unknown species right away, after hearing their very first words. -he is able to pilot any known spaceship or other vessel. Nobody taught him how to operate quinjet, yet Thor learned how to do it perfectly literally on the fly. -he was shown to keep up in the conversation with Bruce banner about space physic stuff. -he interacts with Vision's "cradle" and charges it with lightning just enough to awaken Vision and not hurt him or other delicate electronics around. By doing so, it is revealed that Thor had a good grasp and understanding of all that advanced midgardian tech. -Memory-blocked Thor from comics once lived in Midgard as a Donald Blake, a genius medical physician and surgeon, for a certain amount of time. It was implied, that after regaining his true identity and memory, he haven't lost the vast medical knowledge of his "alter ego".
