@@ninjakuben8217 if you believe the amount somebody breaks a record makes a difference to you personally then that's up to you, but the reality is Thor is the official world record holder.... You (and many others) are pretty much saying that if anyone now doesn't deadlift what at this moment in time is humanly impossible then it doesn't count as a world record. Eddie took it to the next level which was amazing but even himself and everyone else denying Thor's record just looks salty, which ironically is what they try to make out Thor is for only going a kilo extra.... If it's so easy to lift just 1kg extra then why isn't anyone else claiming the record? It's because it's impossible, that's why Eddie nearly died doing it.

There's a difference between being a bodybuilder and a strongman. No way in hell would I want to be either tbh. On the strongman side - too much dedication, commitment and food (10k+ calories a day) which just reduces your life. On the bodybuilder side - steroids. Lots and lots of steroids that will leave you dead before you're 30 or 40. No thanks.

I obviously know it takes insane amount of training and dedication to become a bodybuilder, but the sport is just not worth doing because of the use of steroids. The gym is supposed to be a place where you train to get healthy and extend your life, not to reduce it or make it way harder and miserable (excluding health problems and conditions).

@Loch F just stating facts. It’s still an unofficial world record. You can’t claim a world record under those conditions. I’m more about purity and tagging a video as a world record is not helping the sport. If I ran 100m in 8 seconds in my back yard, is it a world record? Should make my name be put up there above Bolt? No, it shouldn’t. Both Thor and Eddie are amazing athletes and have given their lives towards a sport that should be in the Olympics. For this to be taken seriously, it has to take itself seriously first.

501 without feeling faint or dizzy afterwards. Screaming. Eddie collapsed after 500kg shows he lifted 500kg. Wouldn’t surprise me if Thor used fake weights for some of this as he got it up quite easy compared to a month before he struggled with 460. In his own gym. Plates weighed by his dad and won’t do it at giants live. Will do anything to try beat Eddie as he holds a grudge from 2017 when Eddie handed him his ass in Botswana WSM.

"Eddie handed his ass" You do know eddie won by only 1 point after his weak events were removed from the comp at the last minute which was the real controversy of wsm 2017 right? No you wouldnt because you're brainwashed and havent watched the actual comp yourself. Thors record is legit btw get over it already

Do you honestly think anything more than a handful of them would’ve resembled his height and build? By your logic all the Englishmen defending would’ve looked like Eddie Hall 🤦🏻‍♂️ as for Viking blood.. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is Norse 😂😂 Julian Assange is Swedish 😂😂 oooo big scary Vikings 🤦🏻‍♂️

I feel like if someone said that in reference to a sub Saharan African bloodline, you'd have been as quite as a church mouse 🐁 unfortunately,

@@acruxkepler1211 and I think you were projecting somewhat with that paragraph. Firstly, why would I, a westerner, have issue with celebrating western military prowess? I was simply dispelling the myth that all Norsemen were 9 foot tall bearded giants because it’s simply not true. Their remains, for the most part, were no different in stature to the remains of any other nation’s warriors.
