It’s beyond me the decisions they have made , why allow him to spend 280m on players and only last week supporting him to buy Fofana only to sack him less than a week later. He needed time , in my opinion he had credit in the bank given what won for them last year. Also getting rid of all their advisors will haunt them even more in the months to come. Won’t be surprised if Fulham win on Saturday

Not only the 280 mil spent, but allowing Lukaku to leave on loan and Werner to be sold leaving the club with no experienced number 9 up until deadline day, taking a risk signing Auba because he has a good relationship with Tuchel and then sacking the manager a week later. I'm not a Chelsea fan but even I think it's a joke that could damage more than help them.

Often when Chelsea struggled in the league they always marched on well in the champions league. Now they're failing miserably in the CL against a weaker team in the group. There is 0 creativity in attack, the defence is a shambles and it just doesn't look like it was going to get any better. Klopp situation was different, it took time, but Liverpool could always be said to have been getting better incrementally with each season. Tuchel the opposite, it's been getting worse for Chelsea for over a year now. Not to mention a shambolic transfer window - with stupid money spent not on improving the team, but merely replacing what was lost (and doing a poor job at that).

It's my feeling that player discontent is much greater than the public knows. I don't believe it came down to Tuchel's capabilities or accomplishments. I think it's more likely about what ownership was seeing on the field. Players who weren't playing up to their capabilities is not acceptable! How do you fix that? It's that old saying "You can't fire the team so you fire the manager." I've never liked Tuchel's management style, player selections or alignments. Arrogance is acceptable when winning games. When losing games, it's destructive.

Now add sanctions and Rudiger, Christensen wanting to leave on top of that to the fact that chelsea were 10 mins from a ucl semi, two cup finals lost on spot kicks, 3rd place all of that looks reason enough for sacking to you?

Always ends this way for Tuchel, falls out badly with owners. Dortmund bosses described him as a difficult person & PSG bosses said he needed to show more respect. Sacked by Chelsea after 20mths; sacked by PSG after 2yrs; sacked by Dortmund after 2yrs. Had 5yrs at Mainz but asked to leave his contract which soured relations. Starts like a firecracker but burns out quickly and rubs his bosses up the wrong way. Very good manager but it's a flaw he's got to fix.

I have not been a Tuchel supporter from day one. He had a really good players which helped him along. He played experience for his first match which to me meant he had not checked any previous matches to see who where the best in form players and got a bore draw. The players brought in were clearly on the radar months before so not convinced he had much to do with this. The number 9 issue Boehy had lots of time to analysis and certainly saw no harm in two years for Auba. The issue with failing with Werner and Havetz poor performance and failing to spot players in poor form and playing them all add up. I am surprised the decision was made this quickly however the last 20 games have not been good enough (remember loss to Brentford 4-1 end of season) with very dull football. Changing the format all the time and over agitated. Weirdly I would suggest our new manager should be Thomas Frank from Brentford, he is calm but strong and Brentford play as a teamsomething we do not do.

TT took over a Chelsea team that was 9th in the PL & hemorrhaging Goals - in fact, the yr before Lampard tied the record for most goals allowed by a Chelsea team in the 38 Gm PL era (54) & he had to bench most of the academy players & play Vets just to rescue Top 4..... & they were even worse in 20/21' - what Tuchel accomplished - Dominating Real Madrid & City to win our 2nd CL was a Miracle I don't know if it was the anxiety from the Sanctions which completely destabilized the club or his Divorce but I agree that something has changed but your assessment of Tuchel's performance is laughable b/c it's completely opposite of reality young players are naive & fall apart under pressure & that's why Frank benched most of them after winning only 12 of 26 PL Gm's He began playing Vets to save top 4 in 19/20' & thx to Vets mainly Giroud who replaced Tammy after Frank benched him we won 8 of our last 12 in 19/20' to save Top 4 Hiring Thomas Frank is INSANE..... Managing Brentford & managing Chelsea are 2 diff worlds This was an incredibly stupid decision - unless something occurred behind the scenes - but it seems like the Loss to DZG is what prompted this Sacking & if that is true we are in big trouble b/c that road DZG loss was Nothing Naive, spoiled Chelsea fans whining about entertainment when Tuchel was forced to play a back 3 b/c he took over the Worst Defensive Chelsea Club in 30 years is laughable I respect your Opinion - but you don't get to invent your own reality

Correct decision. This man has been underperforming for the last season and a half. The team looks clueless on how to score goals. The only thing holding them together was their defense, but even that has become a weakness lately. The pattern of attacking players being elite before signing for chelsea and then mediocre afterwards has to be due to Tuchel. Werner- 34 goal a season striker before chelsea. After signing, he can barely score 10. Lukaku- the best striker in Italy prior to his move. Under Tuchel, he became toothless. Ziyech- key contributor to a world class Ajax attack. Now looks like a mid table bench player. Havertz- the most exciting German talent in the world at leverkusken. At chelsea, looks like a drunken giraffe with the touch of an elephant.

He didn't do anything revolutionary at Real, his football was basic & pragmatic but he took over that team at the perfect time with a fully rounded world-class prime-aged squad & was worshipped there having been a big part of the playing then coaching staff for well over a decade. He had less than 2 pt per game avg, he won with prior managers players, he then forced his system into players not cut for it, his player management isn't great, he stubbornly failed to adjust. Look at his track record with Dortmund and PSG, very similar setup and departure. Left Dortmund but PSG writing was on the wall. @@myownlilbubble yeah I agree on Todd, it just confirms the worst fears about these American owners. Know nothing about the game and just react to media reports and stock figures. Nothing but a business to them

Par for the course with this club. Ownership might have changed hands but the average tenure for a manager there over the last 20 years is about 18 months to 2 years so at 21 months, that’s about accurate. But regardless of the revolving door of changing managers, Chelsea will still reach finals, win silverware and be up there in the mix come May for a top 4 finish.

i have to say he hasnt seemed right since the takeover, whereas normally hes this calm presence, this season hes been all over the place !!! he seemed stressed a bit erratic, his interviews came across negative, he jus hasnt been the same !!

hes not been right since December, the tuchel of 2021 is certainly not the same one now. I had forgotten how much more charismatic he was then, now just complained and played horrible football

@@lorddiegocosta3307 You might want to look into his managerial career. At every club, he starts well & then everything seems to break apart. He starts complaining about most things, making odd team selections & choices of tactics. No idea what it is that causes it each time, but there is only one constant.

Talk about a scatter gun approach to signing players and expecting all those players to settle in straight away. Tuchel loses 2 CBs during the summer and has to rebuild his backline. New owners sane old story.
