The most recognizable and beloved steam engine the world over is returning to the Northland this August. Thomas the Tank Engine® will be delighting his fans with train rides on the North Shore Scenic Railroad. This year’s Day Out With Thomas will be held again in Two Harbors, Minnesota, just twenty minutes north of Duluth.
The first two weekends in August (8/2-4 and 8/9-11) will find the #1 engine from the Island of Sodor giving rides to all his friends departing from the Depot in downtown Two Harbors. The railroad’s Controller, Sir Topham Hatt, will also be there to ensure everyone is SAFE and has a good time.
“We are so happy to have Thomas back with us this year that as Mayor of Two Harbors I am giving Sir Topham Hatt the Key to our City,” said the Honorable Lew Connor, Mayor of Two Harbors.
