Thomas muller deserved the 2010 World cup best player award above forlan. He scored 5 times and provided 3 assists and was instrumental in their 3rd place finish. I can't believe they robbed him from it.

Honestly, he deserved it more in 2014. No offense to Messi though but Mueller was on fire in that World Cup! He was better overall in the 2014 World Cup than in the 2010 World Cup.

If Germany would have had a decent 2018 world cup then he would be closer to Klose's record( 16). He is an embodiment of efficiency. Always in right place at right time and it is not luck but an innate understanding of the game.

Müller is just Müller. He is one of a kind. His game with but espacially without the ball is so unique. Doesnt look very athletic nor elegant, but very much effective. His spirit is something you cannot learn or practice. Completey underrated by so many, but one of the best in the world. Every team wishes to have a Muller.
Thomas Muller has 10 goals scored at world cups for now and remember that Miroslav Klose holds the record with 16 goals scored at world cups. I hope Muller will be back in national team for 2022 world cup and score yet just one or maybe 2 or 3 goals to get close to Klose's record

@Komentujący 9000 even on Google his first preferred position is forward ,and am a Bayern fan I see the formations ,it's 433 attack ,and gnabry plays as rw and recently he's playing at lw when sane moved to rw ,don't just trust on fifa watch the matches you would know ,Robben and Ribery played as rm and lm ,gnabry and sane play forwards

anyone who watched the Brazil game in 2014 clearly remembers Mueller's goal completely letting the air out of the stadium. It was fascinating to witness. Most people would state the second goal by Klose was what started the panic but Mueller's goal so empathically and early in the game was the killer, imho

Funny man is intelligent. Muller doesn't have impressive skills, pace or even physical strength. But, his brain and vision is incredible, he plays football like playing chess. I must say he's not only great player, he will be a great football manager in the future.
