right but for us germans definitely not underrated. He and Lahm were real leaders. Now we have so much amazing players but no leader like Schweinsteiger and Lahm and look what happened at the world cup the second time it's unbelievable

Tbh Ballack could've influenced Germany against Spain. Ballack - apart from his complete technical and physical abilities, was a winner. A dirty player who gets the job done.

@@Gonax97 Spain was the least exciting team that tournament. It would have been amazing if tiki taka wasn't popular prior to that, but it was well utilized by Barcelona already and the Spaniards were just edging against all the opponents.

My personal thoughts , I like this German national team more than the 2014 trophy, as the German national team is a team of young players that no one expected of them. But they became the team that scored the most goals in the tournament (16 goals). Fun, fast and efficient football. Unfortunately, the team's experience is not strong enough. So had to lose to the Spanish national team that at that time was the best team in the world. but still It is the German national team that is in the hearts of many people.

@@Reuben2000 The 2014 team is the champion favorite. The main players at that time were from Bayern Munich and Dortmund ,They were the finals of the UEFA Champions League a year earlier. But the 2010 team was a youngster that many people are not yet aware of including Muller, Khedira, Ozil. , Boateng, Neuer, Kross They are not famous players. But defeated the England and Argentina national teams. with a overwhelming score

I agree. Enjoyed the 2010 version of Germany a lot more than the 2014 side. Unfortunately in 2010 they struck a Spanish side at the height of their possession football power. Hard to play counter-attack football when you hardly have the ball.
