Question do you show how to make some of your tinctures? Love to watch you guys I made my first green house 3 years ago by watching you. Still up and doing great. It fun how you all are down to earth. I know there was some bumps in the road last year. Now we just need some smooth roads. Prayers that God watch over you’al.

Do you freeze dry some of your herbs? I eat fennel steamed with cabbage and carrots. I thinly slice the fennel root and cabbage then I use a peeler to thinly slice the carrots. I place all of the vegetables together into a steamer basket and steam over boiling water for approximately 5 minutes. So easy. So yummy. So healthy. I like to use horehound to flavor home made cough syrup along with honey and lemon.

When it is cold and snowy here in the north, getting and going thru seed catalogs helps us keep from going stircrazy!! As well as getting online and looking thru what companies have thats not in catalogs! I dont even start seeds til the end of February. So going thru seeds to see what I need to get for this year. Saving seeds helps So much! My oragano has been spread by birds and wind so have Lots!! Have yrouble getting thyme and rosemary to germinate but keep trying.

I qas glad theybhave scietific names featured on the packets prominently. Common names get used between sepcies and entire familiesof plants, which can be disasterous. Not all mint family plants are edible or even good for tooical use. Mullien, Verbascum that's is has softer hairs and is the one used as TP. 😉 Black cumin is also used in Persian cooking. I used to work at a Persian bakery qhete it was sprinkled on breads.

On Lovage. I've grown it for many many years. A dear friend how has since passed away gave me several starter plants. It's an amazing substitute for celery (which I have struggled to grow and since given up trying). Lovage is amazing in many dished but I think my favorite is egg recipes. Thank for sharing the contents of this pack and sharing the ones you highly recommend. I have gardener for many years but I'm new to medical herb gardening and will be expanding each year.

Hi Jen and Zach, I have been leaning into transforming my cut flower garden into more of a food forest by adding some hardy figs, more herbs and a few fruit bushes! It has been mostly annuals but last year I had an illness in my family which caused me to lose focus at the end of the season and many things went to seed! Next spring will be very interesting! So why not add more biodiversity and plants that benefit the garden and give me an opportunity to grow my apothecary! Thanks for bringing this to my attention the price is very good for such a variety of herbs! Blessings 💖

Any ideas to establish wild areas for some of these herbs? I know you can find wild mints on the edges of forested areas & was curious if you were going to utilize spaces on the edges of your property & out building’s for some of the “weed” herbs to establish a permanent presence in your properties ecosystem?
