I love your honesty . Only we can do what's best for our family. I b have made major changes to become self reliant. Watched many Homestead channels. To achieve the knowledge I needed to make my changes.

My husband and I saw this years ago. We left the Los Angeles are in 1968. My family nor our friends could believe we'd leave Southern California for the state of Iowa. "You can't make the money there that you can here. The winters are atrocious." The statements were true but when my father said, "Why don't you stay here, make good money and go to Iowa on vacation", I tried telling him that we wanted the full year of living rural and seeing what it was like, not just 2 weeks a year. We weren't hippies going back to the land thinking we could feed and clothes ourselves. We knew better. We worked our jobs because we needed money to live but we also bought an acreage and had animals, gardens, etc. I learned to can, freeze, dehydrate, etc. We've been here 55 years now and never been sorry we made the move. Yes, people if you want this life, you can do it. We were poor as church mice for a number of years, BUT we were also young and in love and had a ball leaning all the new and totally different things. We don't work like we did BUT we don't have to because we made the move while we were young and strong. Now we're old, 76 and 79, but it's been a great life and well worth all the effort it took to get where we are today. Not rich, absolutely not, but debt free, and still living the good life.

God bless you & your husband, I wish so many people would wake up to what's going on in our country, We live in South Texas, and everything has gone up in prices & continue daily if not weekly , I'm 58 , my husband is 60 , Thank goodness we moved to Texas almost 16 years ago , got our home & land very reasonable, now houses like ours are crazy priced and the interest rate is just as bad , People like us are having a hard time paying our electricity bills , $335 this month were 2 years ago our bills were never over $145 . Food prices , Gas , every day items have doubled if not tripled , I started preparing years ago , being raised by my wonderful grandmother who lived through the depression and my father a Vietnam veteran, I taught my children to fish , garden , hunt and save, if you can't pay with cash DONT BUY IT . OUR COUNTRY IS IN BAD SHAPE !!! ALL IN LESS THEN 2 YEARS . PLUS what our State is flipping the bill with our taxes to try & protect our country . I could go on forever. But I know you see it . I just wanted to say congratulations on n 55 years and God bless you Mrs josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas 🙏 ❤🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

@@jtharp9265 My husband said back in the 60's that the country couldn't keep on with the debt and would have to begin paying it back some day. He was wrong, I guess. All these years later and we're still spending and getting deeper in debt. Someday, surely, the chickens will come home to roost but I doubt it affects my husband and I too much. However, our children and grandchildren may have a steep price to pay. God bless you and yours too.

As someone who went through a lawsuit I’ll give you the advice that was given to us. “This too shall pass; it might feel like a kidney stone, but it will pass”

I told my 31 year old son the other day, if I had to do anything all over, I would have home schooled you and your brother. Now their kids are in public school and live miles away from me. Wish I would have done differently, but the Lord forgives me and I try to be the most Godly mom and grandmother possible at this point❤️🙏🏻

You had me at 20:18...damn right it is a cult. I get looked at like I'm crazy when I'm at work, coming in at 3am to cover shifts, talking about how I cant wait to be able to just be HOME. I get met with comments like "Well Christine some of us have to work for a living..." My response? Oh I'll work for my living, but I'll be working for MYSELF at home, sunrise to sunset I'll be working my tail off because that's what I am called to do. That day will come, I pray it every single day. Thank you for posting this. We cant wait to see you guys at HOA!

Oh Zac, I know exactly what you and Jen are going through. Been through it myself and it lasted 10 years in court before I finally won my case. I represented myself in my case. It was blood sucking my mental state dry. Sleepless nights, serious migraines every day and even lasting for days continually. The fight I have to say, was worth it. It made me tougher, stronger and much more aware of my surroundings and the zombies in it. I gained a ton of knowledge during that lawsuit. If was tough I grant you that. When it first began, I had no idea what I was doing but I learned quickly. It was like going to law school in a self taught situation but never obtaining a degree. I even had a mini stroke during the process probably caused by massive stress. I couldn’t afford a lawyer so I had to learn. No options. Mine ended up in. Trial by 12 jurors with a unanimous vote in my favor and a huge million dollar award. My case was decimation with malicious intent. That’s a tough one to win and she even had a lawyer. So buddy, if I can do it, you can too. I have faith in you that God will stand beside you in these troubled times. Just keep your faith strong and know that you and Jen are much loved and respected. I will keep you all in my prayers brother. We love you and know you will come out of this a better, stronger person.

You should know, you don’t have to stay with that lawyer. They are a dime a dz so shop around for a new one and dismiss this one if he’s not working the way you want him to. Remember, he works for YOU! When my case was over, I was exhausted so I hired a contingent lawyer to collect my award. At first it was good but as time went on during the collection process, he got cocky, lazy and greedy. It was a big mistake hiring him. I did most of the leg work and travel. He still got his and then some. If I ever have to go through it again, god forbid, I’ll learn and do it all myself. I refuse to be taken advantage of again now that I know what I didn’t know before!

Praying!! You're not alone!! You know what you're doing!! Go with God! An 81 yr old is behind you all the way.

Concerning the lawsuit. The sun will shine again. Not today, not tomorrow, and possibly not the next. However, the sun will shine again. So stinking proud of you and Jen and your family. Press on. BLESSINGS!!!

My oldest son is a Senior this year and wants to finish high school at his public school and I can understand this. But I pulled my other kids out and it has been the best thing ever. It’s definitely an adjustment, but I’m seeing for myself what a difference it makes. We will keep your family in our prayers. Life never ceases to throw things at you (all of us). Keep strong. I agree completely with you. Please don't loose your joy. You and Jen have each other and your children and that's everything. We've all experienced really bad times and so many people want to think the worse. I've found prayer works and helps keep your joy.

We homeschooled when it wasn’t popular with no support from family except from my father who agreed that the school system has broke down and caused family division and ignorance with government dependency. I can totally relate. We have been in a land lawsuit for nearly 5 years now....the original judge ruled against us....however we appealed and the appeals court reversed that decision....but they are motioning to have the appeals court to reconsidered.....it is stressful. My prayers will certainly be with you.

We pulled our daughter out of public school in second grade, pulled her out of private school in third grade, and homeschooled after that. She’s an amazing, levelheaded young woman now. We never regretted it once.

I just started this video but I want to weigh in really quick on the "shorts". I see the trend toward shorts and I enjoy them before bed time, for sure. BUT I stayed with youtube (even tho I HATE them for heavy scensoring) because there are still people I want to learn from. You guys are one of my go to channels! We just had the 19….we used 3 Oz garlic and 3 Oz horseradish puréed in the blender then cover with honey to make a paste. Let it sit on the counter for 5/6 days. Take 1 tsp 3x a day. It clears the lungs and nose right up

It’s kind of ironic their planned demic just made folks realize how they have been enslaving us and now we are realizing the control as well and folks are waking up and are tired of it. It’s all illegal and goes against our constitutional rights. God protect us! Wished we could sit and have coffee. I am 55 and I am so thankful for this turning point. We are praying for you and your family! Hopefully it comes to an end and in a good way soon! We were able to go from 3 babies in a tiny bedroom all together in a MAJOR fixer up home where we had sewage in our basement every other week where our laundry was at for 5 years.... and able to move to a little under 3 acres where we have room in the house to move around! Taught myself to garden, preserve, cook and so much more! And you guys were the ones to inspire us to push and try!! ❤ This year I pulled my oldest to homeschool to see if we can do it! Because I am nervous that I'm gonna miss something important that my kids need to know! But I'm not gonna stand by and let someone else raise my kids! And I think we are already feeling confident that this is the right move so next year I'm keeping all 3 at home to homeschool them! You guys are such an inspiration. Stay strong!!! My husband & i left a cult we were born into nearly 25 yrs ago ( we were in our mid & late 30's...we're in our early 60s now..the very needed & necessary changes & deprogramming did NOT come easy ...but boy! Our life is so much more rewarding for esp the confidence gained in all these yrs of growth...we can all do better in being creative free thinking sovereign ppl...great analogy: 'cult' ( mindsets can be both freeing & enslaving)
