"This was Insane!" Pros REACTED To Naoya Inoue VS Luis Nery..
Naoya Inoue found himself on the canvas for the first time in his pro career against Luis Nery, but stormed back to dominate in what wound up being business as usual.
Inoue was down in round one, but returned the favor in the second and fifth rounds before knocking Nery out to retain his undisputed super bantamweight championship in the sixth round.

    It would be easy for Inoue to just win, but he dares to take risks and aim for KO because he knows that the audience will not be excited even if he wins by decision Other boxers only think about winning, but Inoue's goal is to win by KO with overwhelming content to entertain the audience, so he is completely different from other boxers in dimension Historically speaking, no other boxer has been so dominant

    @@DisingenuousComment Dang, just looked at Crawford's record and early in his career he was fighting 3 - 5 times a year. So in 10 years Crawford go 34 fights in and in 10 years Inoue got 24 fights in. Crawford is getting old and it's probably hard for him to be as active as he used to be. Not bashing Inoue at all, I'm just impressed at how active Crawford used to be. Inoue is freaking awesome though. Hope he destroys Sam Goodman too. I also kind of wish Casimero would stop being a bum and fight more then get higher ranked so Inoue can shut his fans up. haha.

    Every fighter has their weaknesses. No fighter, no human is perfect. The problem with fighting Inoue is getting past his unbelievable strengths: the hand speed, the punching power, the economy and accuracy of his punches, the excellent footwork, the excellent defense. As a fighter finding your way through that gauntlet of skills while shielding your own weaknesses is formidable.

  • @gavingreenhorn

    @gavingreenhorn

    Ай бұрын

    He's my favorite fighter ever, but I wouldn't say his footwork is that great, to be honest. He retreats in a straight line under pressure and too stationary in offence (with the upside of having all that power coming from the ground). If we could, say, have all of Naoya's skills and add Lomachenko's footwork to that... Lomachenko was like a dancer in his prime, flies left and right, in and out of range, befuddles opponents, makes them look stupid, but - has no power whatsoever. And Naoya is like a turret, destructive power at the expense of digging in and always standing in front of opponents. He's already a GOAT, but having the best of two worlds would have made him but an absolute deity of that sport.

  • @gavingreenhorn

    @gavingreenhorn

    He also gets overconfident in his recent fights. Even if he believes that the opponent presents no danger, there is no reason to act carelessly for the show. All that rockstar status might be getting into his head, and that might become his greatest opponent. That was what ended Tyson.

    Inoue has returned to the top of the pound-for-pound rankings. Why is he definitely better than Crawford? Because he doesn't fight for long at all. Meanwhile, Inoue is constantly fighting top-ranked fighters and champions. Even if Crawford's fight a year ago was well-received, he doesn't fight at all after that, just watches Inoue's fights and praises himself as the top pound-for-pound. He should fight a title match against a top-ranked fighter or champion once every six months. Inoue has fought many matches, and there is no doubt that he is the top pound-for-pound. Crawford doesn't deserve to be the true top pound-for-pound unless he fights a title match at least twice a year. Don't always watch Inoue's fights.

    Naoya's greatness is not just his powerful punches and speed! This time, he was knocked down for the first time in his life, but normally when boxers are knocked down, they immediately get back up to make it look like it's not working, but Inoue always thinks of the worst case scenario and trains to imagine what it would be like to be knocked down. He said that he doesn't stand up right away, but takes time to recover and remembers to stand up until the 8 count. In addition to making a calm decision to calmly take back the points, when he returned to the corner after the 1st round, he looked at Naoya's down scene that was being projected on the large screen for the audience diagonally above the ring, and Neri released the ball. His boxing IQ and ability to make corrections, such as checking the trajectory of a left hook, is outstanding! After that, Naoya dodged Neri's punch and regained the knockdown, and he challenged the 4th rounder by telling him that he had given up on your punches and should try to hit them if he could. Naoya took the initiative and clearly suffered damage. , KOed Neri in the 6th inning as his movements became worse! At the end of the day, it was a complete victory. This is the power of PFP No. 1!

    all want inoue come up weight, this will destroy inoue BELIEVE me... inoue will up weight and then this will effect all... stamina, movement speed, everything WILL EFFECTED... BECAUSE inoue got natural skinny body at 120lbs and very suitable at this weight 120lbs... if inoue tries to gain weight to 130 or 140 lbs it's just greed and will lose... inoue is very suitable for his natural size and weight now

    He's got one more division in him, but he knows what he's doing. That's why he's defending his belts at this weight for now. All the talk of going up to fight Prank is just nonsense. That clown won't even fight the top guys in his own division, lol. People should appreciate a guy like Inoue, who is always fighting the best.

    Their height is the same so that makes no sense. Just because inoue started out at 108 doesn’t mean he can’t compete with tank. He’s moved up so many weight classes and still keeps winning and not even slowing down. He’ll keep steam rolling at 130 and 140. Stop making assumptions. Pacquino did it so inoue can do the same.

I want to keep Naoya's brain free of any damage Still though, y'all gotta chill. Look at the boxrec website. It says Naoya is #1 pound-for-pound, so y'all don't need to push Inoue to higher and higher weights If you're gonna believe in ratings, believe in boxrec, not some random american idiot who thinks that black boxers are the best race in boxing and that higher weights = higher competition Lmao, their logic is stupid anyway, like bud and tank must've fought bums then since they've never fought at heavyweight, aka, the weight with the best competition Lmao, Naoya going up in weight to fight them? How about bud and tank GO DOWN in weight to fight Naoya? Oh right, these stupid Americans can't compute that cuz they're too stupid. Something about "but it's bad for bud and tank to go down in weight! They're gonna get knocked down from being too skinny! But Naoya? lmao, idk what that chinese boxer trying to prove, but that korean boxer won't even be at a disadvantage cuz going up in weight has no negative efffect on the body whatsoever (according to my american pea sized brain best country in the world hur dur), but bud and tank GOING DOWN in weight? Can't have that!"
