This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us - "Weird Al" Yankovic
Комедия
This performance is included in the jam-packed bonus disc of the Blu-Ray release of Edgar Wright's amazing documentary "The Sparks Brothers." Edgar asked me to bring my accordion to the Q&A session and perform the Sparks classic for him, and I gladly obliged. I'm sure I could have played it better, but Edgar was happy with the first take - one and done, baby!

The 20 people who gave this a thumb down have no joy in their lives. I feel bad for them.
I'm a simple person, I see "Weird Al" and I click.
One of the BEST musicians and vocalists of my generation, The Jones Generation. I was born in 1958 into white privilege in SoCal, that I didn’t understand the reference to until about 20 years ago. Artists like Al and others, combined with my wife, made me understand that this life is a gift that MOST AMERICANS do not get to enjoy!
Weird Al is one of the most underrated talents of our century.
This Al ain't Weird enough for the both of us.

When I describe Weird Al as speaking to every generation of 13-year-old, people think I'm dissing him. But no, I mean it with the greatest respect. Anybody that can reach four generations, from gen x to whatever we're calling the kids too young to be zoomers, has done something monumental.

My dad, a Boomer, likes Weird Al, too! He introduced me to him through a Dr. Demento tape when I was a little kid and I have been hooked ever since. 🥰
Man is 62 and still kicking, aged like fine wine.
62 years old... Man you look like 45! It is true, be positive to yourself and others and do things you enjoy, keeps you away from the aging proces!
Dam this guy is a handsome Rockstar still living live in the 80s
To anyone here who loves Al, I strongly recommend checking out the Sparks Brothers doc from earlier this year. You may find you have more capacity for love than you thought possible.
The world needs more accordions, banjos and xylophones.
Born in 81. Been a fan since 91. Always makes me happy.
It's so easy to overlook the musicianship.
Ron and Russell must LOVE this.... you may be the only person weirder then they are
The world need Weird Al.
Weird Al is what the world needs right now
This guy better live forever.

It's like how "The Simpsons" was seen as a rather crude cartoon for relatively older audiences when it first aired, and now it's practically child friendly compared to the sick stuff they show on more recently created animated sitcoms for adults like "South Park" and "Family Guy."
It’s amazing that Al is only now being recognized as the master musician he is.
This is the first time I heard accordion music in 80 years without intense disgust, unease, and violent stirring. JEEZ, AL, YOU'RE NOT HalF BAD.
It’s one thing to be parodied by Weird Al. It’s on quite another level to be _covered_ by Weird Al. High praise indeed.

Long ago the four genres lived in harmony. That all changed when Pop-rock attacked. Only Yankovic master of the accordion could reunite the masses, but when the world needed him most he persists. Now 30 years have pasted and our hero looks like he's ready to outpace anyone. But I believe Weird Al unites the world.
Weird Al Yankovic is a G.O.A.T!
Weird Al should host and be a musical guest on SNL, and he should even be in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The fact that he isn't in the latter is disappointing , but the fact that he hasn't done the former is a borderline tragedy.
Weird Al once did an interview online where he talked about the influences on his parodies. The interviewer asked about “Virus Alert” and Al responded that it was a style parody of a band he liked called Sparks, specifically from the era of their album Kimono My House. I had never heard of Sparks before, but a recommendation from Weird Al is good enough for me, so I went out, picked up that album, and fell in love. Thank you Weird Al for not only making my life better with your music, but making my life better with other people’s music too.

You really forget sometimes that Weird Al is a genuine accordion virtuoso.
Name just one other musician that made his career on playing the accordion. That alone deserves credit.
I still watch UHF at least once a year. "Spatula City"...
Just watched The Sparks Brothers while it was in theaters without knowing anything about the band, everyone's passion for the band spoke volumes throughout the movie, and now I'm listening to this singing along in my head. Fantastic cover, absolutely adore this.
Weird Al performing a song that Sparks sings, these are a few of my favorite things.
Weird Al puts on the most amazing live show of anyone. Period.
In my opinion, accordion is one of most complicated instruments to play.
From listening to “Eat it” as a child to watching perfection on the accordion today, this man is an Absolute legend. While I have aged 30 years, this man looks like he’s aged 5-10 years. Like wine, this man just gets better with age, and he was always a legend from the start.

Wow! A Sparks song. I have love Sparks since 1982. Saw them live in 1984..standing right at the stage. Thanks Weird Al for playing this.
Look at him. The man looks... tired at first. Maybe he's just focusing on the song, but at first he looks... somber. Almost resigned. But then... he starts to figure out the song. The instrument takes on a life of its own, his fingers dancing on the keys of their own accord. He begins to look... like himself again. Some of his iconic vigor seems to come out from within. The years almost seem to fall off of him, giving him this strange appearance of wisdom & youth at the same time. He becomes... timeless. He is Weird Al. Always has been. Always will be.
I just watched The Sparks Brothers this week! Fantastic documentary. You were awesome in it too Al!
