@@ToxicTheEagle I cut the top and bottom grills, modded the side bracket to allow for a 240 aio (like this) and I bought a atx to sfx bracket to save room and weight with a sfx psu.

Travis It’s been a little while and one PC ago but I had a great experience and a pretty great price through Digital Storm. Went with a builder because I was working too much at the time and didn’t have time to build and was very pleasantly surprised.

I should point out that not all ROG boards have these features. I've recently experienced immense frustration because my Asus ROG board does not have post code readout NOR does it have USB BIOS Flashback. I have a bricked board because of a failed BIOS update. It is frankly unacceptable for a "premium" motherboard to not have some sort of Flashback option. My board from 2012 has it, but not my board from 2018-ish. A bunch of other board makers have Flashback even on their lower end stuff. I'm probably done with ASUS until every board they make has at least Flashback.

AMD deserves all love and respect because it is working for improving the whole industry, not just selling more. It is the only company bringing competition and evolution to both CPUs and GPUs, forcing everyone to get better. And now, they are not using the Smart Access memory feature to force other people to go all AMD. Instead, they are working with Intel and Nvidia for compatibility. I wish all companies were like AMD. (Microsoft & others take notes)

An all in one AMD build in a small form factor, awesome. Good find and video you all. Can you do this with an ARM CPU?

For extremely good GPU thermals you could remove the shroud and stock fans from the GPU so it's just the heatsink and install 2x 120mm fans to the bottom of the chasse so it's wedged in between the GPU heatsink and the bottom of the chasse. The fans would be sucking in fresh air through the bottom of the case cooling your GPU as a replacement for the stock fans and shroud. This mod gives incredible thermals and it looks like the GPU is low enough to the bottom of the case for this to be possible. Optimum Tech did a video on this and it was really awesome. Just a cool idea.

QBX modders could tell you that you need to remove the stock feet for good thermals in this case

Yeah you COULD do that, and maybe it would look cool? But you'd lose the stock AMD cooler aesthetic with the logo and LED. And, the thermals could just as easily be improved by changing the fan profile. They're set to spin VERY slowly out of the box, so for a slight noise increase they can actually cool much better. But, if you really want better thermals, and potentially better looks too (subjective), you could choose an aftermarket GPU I'm sure, it is Origin after all. Most if not all of the aftermarket cards have better thermals, sometimes significantly so, than the stock AMD cooler, even though it's not half bad this gen.

That case shares a lot in common with the Cougar QBX. I suspect it shares some tooling, although most of the plastics are different, and it's modified for an sfx power supply.

Like this PC. I own the same mobo in the Lian Li Case with handle. Good that I own nhd20 headphones to not have to listen to the 8 fans I got in my (disputable) itx case... waiting for the Icegiant cooler to finally overclock my r9 3900x over base clock

the use of a good wi-di (Wireless display) based monitor is the next step for an almost wireless experience along with wireless kb and mouse then you just have a power cord from the computer and monitor a true wireless experience requires the desktop computer to be powered wirelessly (we won't see this perfected for a long time)

the clear cmos button on the back of the motherboard, yeah that seems like a great thing to have round about one will be fumbling with cables.

RedHarbinger made some "chassis-templates" as CAD files, which I believe they sold rights to during a Kickstarter. More likely the case design is one of those, but modified - if not it looks incredibly well made, with great use of space and easy to upgrade. It offers some nice RGB. It's quiet with decent thermals. After looking at specs, I found it even supports an RTX 3090 with an Intel or an AMD processor... sounds like an exceptional PC.

The base case very much looks like to be Cougar QBX style; just relocated I/O and 1 extra side mesh.

I'm in love with the chronos, eyyyy, I'M IN LOVE WITH THE CHRONOS!!!!! This pc has become my dream P.C. I love the size, origins meticulousness with how they build their joints. That cable management, the build quality and the quality of parts... Origin are the beez kneez... And I agree, I wouldn't pick the tempered glass over this one.

If you go in nvidia control panel and click System Info at the left down corner, you can see if the Smart Access Memory is enabled. It is displayed as Resizable-BAR

The point OP made was that the 3 fps increase from 72 is a lower % increase than 3 from 62, even though Linus said it as a higher %. Don't insult people when you yourself don't know what you're talking about. Also, OP was making a joke. Not everything has to be so serious all the time.

Im surprised vertical GPUs aren't far more popular by now on these SFF PCs. Even though this case is a bit higher off the desk than most, I wonder what the temp differences would be between the two configurations.

Internally that case looks like a pretty standard take on the cougar qbx/nr200/ncase m1 style, just with no room in the bottom for even slim intake fans.

i have a cougar QBX, very similar nice itx case. though it is alittle too plasticy in some parts. also extra dust filters are a must

I hate motion blur in first person games, but a little is nice in racing. Because you're not rotating the whole camera, it only ends up around the edges and gives you a sense of speed. But long motion blur is too much lol

6:22 Resizable BAR isn't exclusive to Ryzen 5000/Radeon 6000, it's actually supported on ryzen 3000 (and potentially 2000 and 1000 as well, depending on whether or not your motherboard has a bios update to support it) and Radeon 5000 (and potentially older) as well. I know Intel and Nvidia have been talking about supporting it on their older products ever since AMD started marketing it, but I'm not sure if they've actually done it yet. Either way, props to AMD for finally getting the industry to open up this feature to consumers You can also verify that it's enabled and working by going into windows device manager, viewing the properties for your graphics card, and looking at the values for "large memory range" under the Resources tab. If it's working, you'll see an address range equal to the amount of vram you have. If it's not working, you'll either see 256mb worth of addresses, or "large memory range" just won't show up at all.

Literally had a LTT Honey ad, watched the whole thing too :D

Last time I was this early, Intel was actually doing well.

Actually it's good in budget CPUS. ryzen 5 3600 was hardly 2% faster than i5 10400f and i5 + H410 mobo: rs. 13500 + 6200 rs vs Ryzen 5 3600: rs. 19500 + 8500 rs I'm glad it exists, AMD must make ryzen 5 3600 cheaper as same as i5
