I feel so bad for Reynaldo's family...they were there when he was killed. I cannot imagine, seeing a loved one, fall down, and there being a shot and then be told he's gone forever. the sheer level of trauma...and this photo must elict so many conflicting feelings. On one side, it's a good thing bc it shows the killers and helped get them to justice, but on the other it's literally the moment their father, husband and son-in-law died. It's a forever reminder of what must've been the worst day of their lives.

Imagine how the loved ones of those who died on 9/11 felt. I am from Arlington where the Pentagon is and even I can't imagine how it felt in NYC. You watch those towers fall and know your loved one is in there. Those images are replayed all the time and you see the moment they died over and over again, sometimes without warning.

I agree. An attorney doing more than just advising to go with the plea bargain! Max Scheler, a great modern philosopher of the 20th century (b. 22 August, 1874 d. 19 May, 1928), spoke against copping a plea if you're innocent, in fact he suggests that it is a crime and actually, it is. It's called purgery. You really purger against yourself. In America, if your defence lawyer wants or expects you to cop a plea and you can't afford another attorney, you are required by law to defend yourself. The law is NOT the judge and the judge is NOT the law! A judge is not inclined to allow a person to defend themselves, so that individual needs to know their Constitutional rights and even then, one might have to fight tooth and nail but anything else is a crime. Of course, if the defendant does everything in their know how, the crime falls back to the judge and back in the District Attorney. The judge is the one who puts (is supposed to put) a bridle on the DA by only allowing a trial if there is overwhelming evidence of forensic quality; not just hear say on circumstantial evidence . He should not have even had to sweat it with the video evidence of the game that day. He didn't commit the murder therefore there was no evidence, forensic or otherwise so the judge upon seeing this, he needed to tell the DA, Where's your forensic evidence? Ok, you don't have a case and will compell you to drop the charges until you find forensic evidence or find the killer. We want the truth! Not aimless convictions as justice. And to whomever did commit the murder, mercy IS justice; without it, there's only tyranny of DOJ against anarchy of the indisposed. I trust in God alone and to all else, the benefit of the doubt!

The details about the last story where Martha Puebla was murdered, is truly shocking. The police told a gang member prisoner that Martha had identified him as the shooter in a murder that happened outside her house, they even showed him a photo where they claimed Martha had circled a photo of him and signed it, identifying him as the shooter….only it was a lie. Martha had done nothing of the sort, but the cops used it as a ruse to put pressure on the gang member. She knew nothing about it. The gang member then called another member and told him Martha was a snitch and should be killed. Which she was. Her parents are currently suing the cops over their horrific abuse of power, which directly led to Martha’s murder.

Man, I remember this channel when we heard about what Mr. Ballen saw in that bedroom in the ski house. It’s insane to me how this has taken off. I can see why, don’t get me wrong - he’s been an amazing storyteller which is such a rare talent. Genuinely happy for the channel’s success - it’s been quite the ride! Great stuff, boss! Keep smashing it!

That story is still one of my all-time favorites! Scared the 💩 outta me but man, was it told well as all Mr. Jon B.Allen's stories are! This man has most definitely found his niche, a God-given gift. I enjoy these so much towards the end I'll check the time hoping there's and extra story or two! We should all feel a sense of gratitude these are free to watch. 😊🙏🏻

Yeah! Aren’t you a little disappointed he strayed into True Crime solely and NO longer does the “Strange, Dark and Mysterious?!” I mean I love the true crime as well, but I subscribed and purchased subs for THAT specific reason after 2 years of devotion.

@@bad_mnky9134 not that much. Like you, I’m not a huge true crime fan, but they’re still good stories. Plus: to be brutally honest, they get clicks. I suspect that quite a large share of the success this channel has seen is down to those stories. He’s such a good storyteller I actually find his true crime stuff more palatable than others, likely due to the little flourishes he puts into them (like “the detective sipped his coffee”, which likely isn’t in the court report XD) and it humanises things. He doesn’t dwell on the gruesome parts too much, too - he’s very respectful. So while I agree with you about my pretences, I understand why he’s done that. So I don’t really begrudge him at all! Plus, some of them are genuinely unique to him - at least, I’ve not seen them covered elsewhere.

Hey Ballen, you really need to drop better help as a sponsor. They have been exposed for selling personal data to Facebook, in fact, the whole company is a front just for selling personal data, they don’t care about you, they don’t care about helping. They just want to get as much info as they can on you to sell it to the highest bidder. Look it up, there’s a lot of information about it. They even admitted to it.
