I'm truly sorry to hear that, 3 years ago this June my cousin lost a 2-3 year battle with cancer, he was my best friend, he passed 6 days after he turned 16. It's very hard losing family members especially if they're young, I have a very dangerous job and I've came closer to death more times than I'd like to remember but it's taught me to try to enjoy life while I can because it's short. I hope and pray you can remember as many of the good memories as possible and that in those memories, you might find more peace.

I have tried listening to some of the other storytellers on here, but so far none of them are quite the caliber of mrballen, he has managed to perfect a story telling style that brings you right to the edge of your seat and looking over your shoulder and making sure all the curtains and blinds are closed…as the grandchild and daughter of some of the finest tellers of “ghost tales” in the hills and hollers of Southern West Virginia I am impressed and thrilled that he is sharing his gift with all of us…it’s rare to find someone who has the gift of telling these stories in such a way that you believe every single word they say. I lost my daddy nearly 8 years ago now and I still dream of him almost nightly. In fact I napped earlier today and dreamed of him making sure I had a heater so I wouldn’t be cold. (It was cold in my room and I realized when I woke up that’s why I’d dreamt that) Even in my dreams he’s still being the daddy he always was. All this to say, you have my deepest and most sincere condolences, internet friend. It is a devastating loss and I am so so so soooo sorry for your loss!

So amazed by this story. What a wonderful woman ( Emma) was that she continued to forgive John and gave him opportunities as we all stuff up in this world. And police having an assumption which resulted in tunnel vision is not unusual. I do believe in Devine intervention. And this case definitely indicates thst it exists.

Probably gonna get buried.. but MrBallen has helped me see the brighter side of life… i have custody of my son and I’m in a battle rn… these story’s have helped me reflect on my life and I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you for your service my man and keep truckin🤙🏻

❤❤❤i watch all your videos swear no one tells a story like you .....i use to be pretty bad into drugs and ive been sober now almost a year...the hardest moments are the times when i have free time but honestly binge watching your shows have helped me make it this far without going back outta boredom or being alone or to go use again and be around others ...so at my weakest moments sitting down with my dog and watching your storys has helped me thankyou...

@@therealDawnBarton I think that because he has become so huge things had to change. I am guessing he hired a bunch of production people who are running to show. And they are telling him not to do it for whatever reason. I miss his goofy side, “me and old seagull lung” and how he could never get through them without cracking up. I loved that. It showed a side of him that I am worried we won’t see any more. But hey, things change, there is nothing to be done about it. But if they make it to where we can’t see him, his flannel shirts, his scraggly beard, and ponytail, and crazy gestures, I am done.

The KZread channels that upload absolutely don't sound good at all. The ones on Amazon that are re-uploads from this channel don't sound good either even though he says they're remastered. I think that's why they sound so bad on the KZread channel. I won't say the channels are stealing the content because I've been chewed out by numerous people on the non check marked channel by people who said Mr Ballen's staff run that channel as well but don't take credit because the podcast was at the time exclusive to Amazon. But anyway, the podcast only episodes sound good on Amazon. They do get all drawn out. I do enjoy his storytelling but I've noticed he fills in with way too many unnecessary details but leaves important stuff out all the time. Well, not him. Whoever does his writing. Those podcasts have long lists of employees. I always think of "his" style as a campfire made for TV dramatized version of events..sorta like Lifetime movies. I always have something playing on my tv or phone so the longer the better for me. I listen and watch a lot of content. I watch more on streaming services than I listen to platforms though. Right now I've been listening to his medical mysteries series. It's super, super good. I've actually learned a bunch of stuff I didn't know. Run, fool is great too but it's read by Rodney Barnes. He is splendid. His voice is radio/voiceover quality. As for anyone else, I haven't found anything. I'm so late to the podcast thing, I don't even know how to find anything good.. Everything I've found on Amazon besides Ballen content is AI from Reddit. Kinda irritating because that's one reason I wanted to listen to podcasts is to get away from all the AI and reddit content.

They're always a perfect choice, putting me right in the middle of the story... While I truly couldn't be happier for you expanding yourself on to new media platforms. I give it to Mr Ballen over Mike OVERALL as when Mr Ballen started these storytelling vids, he was doing 4/5 a week steadily for about 2 years The output was insane. Mike's always been a once a week guy, but nonetheless I watch them both equally. But Mike has the Life Insurance song and dance. It's few and far between, but you can't help getting excited when you know it's coming any second. And Disturban is VERY CONSISTENT aswell and really good. Ballen, Mike and the Disturban guy are my holy trinity of storytellers.

The title has changed multiple times since it was uploaded 4 days ago. He changed it to this because OJ Simpson died and he wanted people to find his video when searching for that. He's lacking in where he wants to be in views, it showed through this desperate tactic.
