The 75mm APFSDS round of this thing does less than the 30mm APDS fox.

I think this needs to go down to 10.7 honestly, that's a reasonable br compared to 11.3 which is ridiculos.

yep and the 2s38 needs to go to 11.3 where it belongs cuz its better than this thing could ever dream of being

as much as you want to make it seem op, the hstvl is sad and suffers. i would take out the 2s38 1000 times than this

In the beginning I said: High rate of fire, very nice! Fast vehicle, very nice! BUT It's difficult for me to penetrate medium tanks. I fired 5 rounds to a medium tank from the left side, and just critical damage happen! Now I use this specially in the begging of the game to capture the points due to high speed and that's all. Seems like cannon barrels take multiple shots from my experience and hstvl is one of my most played vehicles

Its definitely that type of vic, you described it perfectly lol I have the same experience. Its such a love hate relationship between my hstvl and i lmfao. One game ill get a nuke with it and the next round its like my rounds dont spall lol but when she works damn does it feel good to have a quick boy at top tier with the US

Used to be OP but now 2S38 took that spot lol Now it’s suffering with lowest K/D ratio amongst 11.3+ vehicles but still players like you can get a 100% potential out of this thing and have some crazy matches! 👏🏻

It would be better if they buffed it - buff stock round (its in writing to have similar performance to M774), give it its better round (penetration exceeding 400 but not exceeding 500 mm), maybe its 1 second reload, IRST, and HE-VT. The more important buff is to buff all

Many people compare it to the 2S38 and say it should be around the same BR as it in its current state. I disagree as its main issue at the moment is just spalling but with these buffs they can put it at 11.7.

Jesus christ this coment section. This thing is completly fine in good hands. Just because You can't serve as short range SPAA the way 2S38 can, doesnt mean 2S38 is better? Im 100% confident that whoever says 2S38 would be better at 11.3 either has never played it, or cant reach 1.0 KDA. HSTVL has amazing mobility, low profile, 17 dreaking deg. of gun depresion and You are saying that shit barn which is slower than 9.3 mbts is op and better than this because it has proxy fuse?

IDK how you manage to get against low tiers most times... what you killing is typ90... leo a4 and leo 2k , t80u and so not really 11.7 tanks.. against this tanks is hard to pen most time. But for sure awesome job and gameplay from you :)

Since the vehicle is 11.3, some people prefer to bring their 12.7 CAS options to their 11.7 line-up. Thus this vehicle wouldn't really see those who use those CAS planes in conjunction. Combined it with premium spam of 10.3 - 11.0 vehicles and you'll see downtiers a lot.

-17 is just Disgusting. Even turm 3 only has -15 😂

Careful kirshen you may trigger the spookston event to spawn and attack you with a ton of unclassified publically available information that gaijin choses to ignore while simultaneously accepting a scrap of paper as reason to buff russian vehicles. This turned into a rant instead of a joke real quick
