In the caves they even found stone age tools and lots of cave bear bones. You can walk thru them higher up the montain, where you find the most beautiful lake ( where i was ice skating as a child)

She didnt build it. its over a 100 years old. and it most likely started as a hickers cabin for hickers to sleep in when they climbed the mountain

Now it’s just really weird to see places you’ve been to being prompted on KZread especially bc they really don’t need to :)) I was there with my grandma and she told me that the owners change quite often bc there are just that many tourists and it’s really stressful bc getting food and basically anything up there is just really difficult Non the less it’s absolutely beautiful and I would highly encourage everyone to visit !:D

This reminds me a little bit of the tea house hikes you can do in the Rocky Mountains in lake Louise. However for those ones it is a 6+ kilometer hike in and they do not have electricity due to the remote nature of the place.

Was here in April last year during the lockdown. We hiked all the way there no cable cars. And we were the only tourist there apart from the workers. We sat there and had a ong chat with them then hiked to the top. She was very amazing.
