Forward Flower I hear ya. I’m in Lake Charles and it can only be so good. I’d put my gumbo up against most I’ve had because at the end of the day, it’s a gumbo. There’s only so many ways to make a gumbo. And even if it’s amazing or boring, it’s still just a gumbo. There’s no magic ingredients that she could possibly use to make it worth a 1 year wait.

If you want to go on a trip in the area, well, flight tickets and such are cheaper the earlier you buy them I hear. If you looked forward to it you'd surely remember, or just write it up on a calendar or in a notification.

I knew her when I was little! My Grandmother, Rita Adams Ledet was good friends with her before she passed away. She even had one of her recipes published in Mrs. Alzina's cookbook. It's so cool to have came across this video. Brings back so many memories of making holiday trips back to the bayou. I gotta show this to my mom. 😊

Do you only see what is real or do you question the reality you see itself. I see complex biological life and complex chemical compositions in a complex space, along with universal truths. To me this is proof enough, I see a watch...was the watch created? I see a rock...was the rock created? Complex reality cant be explained without a creator. Cause and effect, the answer to how but not why. Trust in God and devotion to his ways is a path to peace and understanding. As for what to trust and what to understand, you'll hear it if you listen, its etched into your heart. The problem is not listening, seeking, or understanding.
