If you stay active you can retain mobility and strength it will inevitably decrease with age but you can slow it down. Rudy Kadlub squats 450lbs at 70 and he started in his 50s He’s also got 3x the bone density of an average man his age

I will say, you gotta remember that this is probably supposed to simulate your average 80-year old. If you eat healthy and you work out (especially remembering to train your mobility) you would end up being able to do much more when you get old than if you didn't do any of that. So remember to stay healthy and take good care of your body in your youth, your future self will really thank you for it.

I wore something like this before. They got a suit from some people and presented it in our school. I was one of the volountarists. After walking around with it, making simple moves like walking or squatting, reading in these googles, they wanted me to walk up and down the stairs. When I came back, they said "we found a sporty grandpa here!" Or something like that. They made big boi (me) proud :)

If you have the blessing of still being young, take GOOD care of your health NOW. Eat nutritional foods, exercise regularly, get the proper amount of sleep and take time to relax and destress every day. When you are older you will be thankful that you did. I did not take proper care when I was younger and now at 55 I am suffering the consequences of 50+ yrs of the standard American diet of junk food and processed foods with little to no productive exercise. So, now it is harder for me to become or maintain a healthy weight and physique. Brandon this was a great challenge and you are wise to treasure and appreciate every moment you have. Enjoy your youth, form the habits now that will keep you healthy when you are older. It is not necessary that we become decrepit as we age, it is a learned behavior and can thus be unlearned. The younger you are, the more time you have to affect the necessary changes you need to make. Very enjoyable video Brandon, thanks.

No wonder it's a workout doing what's normally a warmup. It's because of all the extra weight. Also one warm up that I see a lot of elderly people doing is Tai Chi or Qi Gong. So the reality is you turned your warmup into a workout. Ice bathes the next day after a work out helps with muscle soreness. I love using body weights, but like free weights it's something you start gradually and build up. I know how 5 pounds of ankle weights feels on each ankle after several hours so just imagining starting with well over 30 pounds on your body for an entire day must have felt insane.
