James blunt is the best at bringing out every emotion in you. He writes about real things, real events in your life, usually with that somber reality that we are all finite and our lives are filled with heart break, sadness and challenges.

There r no words to say how beautiful his voice is. He writes and sings about things that r about real life. It's rare when artists can b so vulnerable and it's so healing to hear. I admire him so much.

When you said his voice is perfect for a mystical movie, I had to let you know some things. The festival is held at Vale of Avalon in Glastonbury, in Somerset (southwest England). A place of knights tales and the supposed burial place of King Arthur. Jesus is said to have traveled these lands as well. Thank you for the sentimental words - I lost my one and only true love more than 20 years ago - my heart will always be missing the piece torn out on that day. I'm still in love, but move forward. My time on Earth has a destiny unknown.

This song isn't about death, its about a girl James Blunt dated, but he wrote the song long after the relationship ended. James Blunts own words, "I guess its a realization that you'll never be with someone, but the frustration that they are still alive and out there in the world.

I tend to agree but that’s just our opinion. It’s not a fact. Facts!

James is a very talented and interesting person. He has a BSc (Hons) majoring in aerospace engineering, served six years in the British Army, including a tour in Kosovo with NATO, reaching the rank of Captain, he has a pilot's license, has sold over 20 million records and has two young children with his wife Sofia. A lot of varied life experiences thus far.

Fantastic choice, Britt! You'd also love the live version of NO BRAVERY by him--it's awesome and intense! AND I implore you to do th studio video of MONSTERS...it's even more emotional than the live version you did.

No Bravery-one of my favorites, is a song about when he left to fight in the Kosovo war. He writes about his life's experiences. This one is about that 1 love that never worked out and it never went away.

Glastonbury is an annual festival in the uk and is probably the most iconic music festival in the world. All the greats have performed there (including Dolly behind you in 2014!) It's probably quicker to name all the major artists who haven't performed there. Goodbye my lover is a very popular song choice at funerals in the UK, as you can imagine.

James is a stellar singer, songwriter and just all round human. He has packed a lot of experiences into his, so far, short life. This live performance was great, but I really do love the (visuals) of the official film clip version. You need more of James.

You mentioned how emotive he can be. If you watch the official video for "No Bravery" you can see the despair in his eyes as he remembers all the death and destruction he witnessed while in Kosovo. There are also some stories of him stopping WW3. I do not understand the particulars of what he did, but it definitely took a lot of courage.

One of the most emotional songs i have ever heard is his song Monsters , that one really pulls on your heart strings

James Blunt has a very special voice. I feel that he never got the recognition that he deserves here in America. Glastonbury Festival is a 5 day festival in England. I wish I lived in England. They have lots of festivals like this. Here is what James said about the meaning of this song: "I guess it's a realization that you'll never be with someone, but the frustration that they are still alive and out there in the world. James Blunt was an officer in the British Armed Forces prior to his career as a sing and song writer. He was part of the British forces that went into Kosovo after the war there. I met them there as I worked with the conflicts in that region at the time. So then he dropped his rifle and picked up his guitar instead. Nice story and the rest is history too :-) Love your reactions, soft voice and beautiful eyes by the way! When will you visit the Land of the Free, i.e. Sweden? This summer? :-)

I’m not a huge Celine Dion fan but she has a lesser known song this one reminds me of that is really good called I Love You, Goodbye you should hear if you haven’t. It is really good.

It feels wrong for me to say, but soon as i saw that that Dolly T shirt in the back Ground, it reminded me of a 12 year old Girl from Georgia, she deleted herself Live on Camera, Her Username was ITZ Dolly, it was the most tragic thing i ever seen, it still effects me now and probably always will. You can Google her story, it destroyed me.

Yesss!! So glad to see you do this. Exceptional performance from a guy who’s just a joke/rhyming slang to a lot of people but he clearly won the whole crowd over here. Glastonbury is definitely the best known and (I think) biggest festival in the UK. Been going for a long time.

I believe you’re thinking of the song Angel Of The Morning. It was actually MADE famous by Merrillee Rush in 1968 when her rendition went to Number 7 and earned her a Grammy nomination. Then, 13 years later in 1981, Juice made it more famous by taking it to Number 4 in Billboard’s Hot 100 and Number 1 in the Adult Contemporary category. I literally wore out the 45 of Merrilee’s version back when it came out and actually bought a second 45 which I still have. Great song by both artists and covered by many others as well.

Just watched Titanic for the first time as an adult and man do I have some new takeaways from all that. First off, great movie. FANTASTIC actually. But then there’s this Rose lady. Just awful. First off Bill Paxton has been spending YEARS of his life trying to find this diamond. Dudes got an entire operation and business dedicated to it. He invites Rose to stay on his ship, puts her AND her daughter up, and thoroughly explains what he has been doing and how important finding the diamond is to him. Not only does Rose have the diamond in her possession and not say SHIT, she also decides to bore the entire crew with this long ass two-day story about how she scored with this random dude one weekend 80 years ago behind her fiancé’s back. Oh, then after they listen to the whole fuckin story, she throws the diamond in the water then goes ahead and dies on this poor fuck’s boat. Nice gal. Oh THEN, when she goes to heaven, she is reunited with that random dude she shacked up with in a Model T one weekend 80 years ago and not her actual HUSBAND?! Ya know, the guy that was there for her for her entire adult life, raised children with her, and had grandkids with all while she hid this wild and freaky time she hooked up with this guy on a highly publicized cruise ship that killed 1500 people then left that same guy she cheated on her fiancé with to freeze to death while she sang a stupid song on a fuckin floating door big enough for two? Yeah that guy. Rose DeWitt Bukater. Biggest villain in any movie of all time.
