A lot of people hate on WGT! To me it looks cool as heck! And the graphics are pretty damn cool. I am trying to chose between wgt and e6

@@davidmaxfieldgolf it def seems like it. So with e6 i believe you can download the course and you do not need an active internet connection after login in. Is that the same with WGT? Or do you always have to be connected to the internet?

Always need the internet connection. With e6 you will also need to have a connection to log in but then not sure after that

@@ryandaudrey it looks good as it's pictures but doesn't show you the actual view of your shot - just the closest image it has. it's ok - e6 is better and GSPro is 10x better than both

Ha ha, priceless, just like real golf, just when you think your on a roll, it brings you back down, this is what makes golf such a great game. Great to see your enjoying the new setup, next is online tournaments. There is huge potential for online tournaments. Huge 👍

100% agree, it’s a massive space and definitely want to tap into that

If you’re left with a 50 ft putting, can you chose to putt it but then if you leave it 4 ft away can you then take the gimme/automake? For a two putt total. Or once you chose “putt out”, do you have to putt it all the way out? Also, how easy are mulligans to take? Unlimited mulligans? I don’t care about scores on any public leaderboards.

That is next level good

WGT - World Golf Tour and no you can just use an iPad like me and connect it to your skytrak through the “Play and Improve” package

Sorry for the IT question, but struggling with a cheap Lightning to HDMI adapter to go to tv with SkyTrak stuff. Are you using an adapter? If so, did you use the official Apple one that’s spendier or have you been able to use a cheap knock off. Many apps work on the cheap knock off (you tube, texting, Netflix, etc). But some of the apps needed for SkyTrak keep cutting out on my tv. SkyTrak app and WGt app are the ones cutting out while the E6 hasn’t crashed yet but I also haven’t gotten all the way to game play. Not sure if it’s my cheap adapter (just purchased a real Apple one for $45 and hope it works), or my two tvs I’ve tried it on, or apps not being compatible with this setup (but that can’t be the case or everyone would struggle doing what you’re doing here). I use a HDMI to usbc cable from projector to my iPad and the iPad connects to skytrak through wifi

@@davidmaxfieldgolf maybe where you are Apple isn’t allowed to use the proprietary Lightning connection so they have to use the more common USBC. Good job to your regulators. I’ll let you know if the expensive Lightning to HDMI adapter works better than the cheap one.

WGT makes you pay for virtual golf balls, IIRC. E6 also works with Skytrak+, & the different Skytrak+ plans include various courses.

@@davidmaxfieldgolf - in WGT, I believe they make you pay for virtual golf balls you use in online tournaments. Not the physical golf balls you actually hit with your club, but in-game.

My budget limits me to the Garmin. I’m curious if I should’ve waited I’m still building my setup and down to the final touches. Might upgrade in a year or two to a diff launch monitor. I do like that you’ve covered the Garmin as much though made me feel it was a good decision for me given my limited money/space.

The Garmin is a fantastic unit value for money. This one is a lot more expensive so naturally you can expect a lot more from it

How's the mis reads and chips with skytrak+. I wish it was a bit cheaper

What are you using iOS iPad or pc and what’s the costs incurred with wgt in comparison to tgc19?

Haven’t played TGC but this is very good and I’m using iPad

I enjoyed this thanks! I notice you cringe a bit even hitting a 4 iron due to space concerns. I hope your garage golf isnn't making your swing too flat. I still can't bring myself to hit my driver properly in the garage for fear of hitting something! lol

I’ve got enough room in the backswing but the follow through is where it’s a bit tricky 😁

I assume you are utilizing the Play and Improve Plan with the ST+. When you get around to reviewing E6, can you confirm if what is included in the plan (15 courses) also includes online multiplayer? I know the subscriptions directly with E6 have the online multiplayer available. Would suck to have to get the play and improve plan and an E6 just to play online.

Do you ever have issues with it disconnecting? I can barely get through a round without having to reconnect 2-3 times. WiFi strength is great so I’m not sure why it keeps happening

I used it with my Skytrak - would say it's ok. GSPro makes this look like a toy and works with Skytrak - so not sure why you would bother with this tbh. they are not comparable

It’s the 24/7 golf par 3 sim which is 2.6m high, 3m wide and 1.6 deep

St. Andrews is an awful course. Liverpool is much better.

David I have a question.... So the graphics are this good on only an Ipad? so If i have a newer Ipad then it will look like the "photo realistic".... Last question consider everything and you could only use one software with your ST+ and REALISM was your objective what would you pick GSPRO E6 or WGT ( Also consider I have a "midlevel" gaming laptop

If GS pro was on Mac I’d get it but unfortunately it’s not. Hopefully they release an iOS version. The graphics may be slightly better on the new iPad but not much
