This is a very interesting puzzle and the solution is quite op 1) rook sacrifice rook e to e8 if black rook takes then queen g7 is a check mate. Therefore he should take the rook with the queen then we play our queen to f6 check no option but to block with rook then queen takes rook at g7 is a checkmate. 2) (optional) I have seen many players do , We play rook e to e8 then they play queen G5 thinking we exchange the queens and they can stop check mate. However, we play rook take rook if king takes rook then they loose their queen on the spot if queen takes rook then Queen f6 check block with queen then we take the queen and it's done and dusted

  • @GayanKaushalyaKumarasekara

Let's see some Cases: CASE 1 - If opponent captures with rook then Queen g7 is checkmate CASE 2 - If Opponent captures with Queen then Queen f6 and there is no other move, so rook has to come inbetween and as Queen Captures rook, Game is all yours. CASE 3 - If opponent would not take the rook then , You can take his Sweetyyy😂 That's All, Jeetu Bhaiya Ek Heart De Dena😂😂😂

Second problems: Quick observations. White’s knight and Queen both threaten g7. But blacks rook protects it. 1. Re8 forks blacks Queen and rook while also pinning the rook, implying that g7 is no longer protected. White threatens mate and the only responses that regain protection over g7 and avoid mate in the next move are: (I) Qxe8 2. Qf6 Rg7 3. Qg7 (mate) (II) Qg5 2. Qxg5 Rxe8 3. Qg7 (mate) 1. Re7 seemed like an option too, blocking the queens protection over f6. But black has a dangerous follow up with Rg6. The original idea of the attack is jeopardized and black might have a chance to defend, develop and threaten a counter punch on the g-file. I didn’t follow it far enough to know who comes out on top. Go with 1. Re8…

For the puzzle, the best move for white is Re8. If rook takes then, Qg7 is mate, if Queen takes then we have a Mate in 2. First Qf6+, Rg7 is forced and once again we have Qg7#. Now black can simply move away his queen BUT Qg7 is still mate as the rook can't take the Queen as it is pinned to the king. So in all 3 variations, Qg7 will be checkmate!

Rg7 forced move and now 3.Qxg7# If black tries to hold on a little more with something like 1...Bb7 or 1...Ba6, then 2.Rxg8+. 2...Kxg8 is mate after Qg7 so 2...Qxg8 but again Qf6+ Qg7 is forced and Qxg7#

Puzzle Solution: Re8 is the best move for white. If he takes the rook with his rook, it's mate in one with Qg7# If he takes the rook with his queen, we play Qf6+, black is forced to play Rg7, and again, it's mate in one with Qg7# If he doesn't take the rook, we play Rxg8+ If black plays Kxg8 after we play Rxg8+, it's mate in one with Qg7# In the position after we play Rxg8+, if he takes with the queen, then we play Qf6+, black has to play Qg7 to block, then it's mate in one with Qxg7# So basically, Re8 wins the game for white.

Nice idea, but Black can draw the game. After Nc3 (or Na3), Black will advance his king towards the pawn. He must be careful not to allow a fork which loses the pawn. However, it done correctly, the king arrives at the b4 square and the white knight must go to b1. Black plays Kb3. Black cannot win, but can force a draw either by repetition of moves, OR both sides achieve a queen (KQ vs KQ = draw).

Rook to e8 Then black has two options either to take rook by queen or rook. Case1 : If black rook captures white rook, then queen to g7 and checkmate. Case 2 : if black Queen captures rook then white queen to g6, then black rook to g7 and white queen captures rook at g7 and it's checkmate.

As always this video is also very good. The puzzle answer is rook to e8. The point of this move is to pin the rook on g8 to deliver queen g7 checkmate. So obviously black can't take the rook with his rook. And if queen takes the rook then we play queen f6 and then after the rook blocks queen g7 mate. Amazing video sir. Keep it up.

Re8 ! forces either the black Queen to stop defending the f6 square (then Qf6+ Rg7 Qxg7 mate) or the g8 black Rook to stop defending the g7 square (then Qg7 mate). If Black don't take the e8 Rook, then their g8 Rook is pinned and we can use it to either mate with Qg7, or take their Queen for free if they play Qg5

Solving the last puzzle. Play rook e8 and if black captures the rook with his Queen then white will play f6 to give a check and black won't have the option of moving his king but to block with his rook at g7 then black Queen captures the g7 rook to checkmate white. If white captures the e8 rook then he's gone because when black plays queen to g7 it's a stunning checkmate.

The correct move is Re8 for white... If queen captures then Qf6+ Rg7 Qxg7#..... If rook captures then simply Qg7# is a mate.... If black does not captures then Rxg8+ Qxg8 Qf6+ Qg7 Qxg7# is a mate... If black tries to exchange queens and protect g7 and goes Qf5 then Rxg8+ Qxg8 Qf6+ Qg7 Qxg7# is a mate.... Hope u like my ans... There is another solution. Ra7 check, only move king b8, then kd6, if black makes a queen we just give check from R7 and if black take the rook we just play Kb5 check and whenever king will go doesn't matter, we just play Kc3 stop promoting pawn and win the game by our own pawn...

Rook to e8. If your opponent takes the rook with the rook, then Qg7 is a checkmate. If your opponent takes takes the rook with the queen, Qf6 check, rook blocks and Qxg7 is a checkmate. If your opponent doesn't take the rook then you can take either the queen or the rook.

Best move is Re8 if Qxe8 then Qf6+ Rg7 is the only legal move and then Qxg7# if Rxe8 then Qg7# is straightaway checkmate if he tries to eliminate the knight by playing d6, d5 or even Ra5, then Rxg8+ now black has 2 options if Kxg8 then Qg7# is a brutal support mate And if Qxg8 then Qf6+ Qg7 is only legal move and then Qxg7# is checkmate. Please kindly let me know if I missed any lines where black could have saved the game.

Sir, why don't we do this? Move move white knight to e7, then black pawn promotes to queen. Then simply move knight to c3. Now black might try to attack with Queen, but we move rook to A7. Check mate.

Solution to the puzzle: knight moves to e7 leading to 2 probable outcomes. First, black moves its rook to f8 or e8, in either cases, we move our queen to f6, and that's a mate. In the other case if instead of moving rook, black captures our knight with its queen, we take her using the rook of e1 square. Further, if black rook moves to f8 or e8, we capture it using our queen or our rook respectively. And the simple capture of the rook would result a mate!

Rook E1 to E8, if he kill's with the queen he's check mate otherwise if he kills with the rook then the king has some space to move but not with the white Queen giving a check diagonally with the white knight supporting it from the back. @chesstalks

The best move is Qe3. The idea is to form a 3-piece battery on the e file. So, Black obviously plays Qe7. But, that's a blunder because Nxe7 is a beautiful fork and he ends up winning the rook or bishop. So, he will play Qf8 because we are blocking the queen from entering the e file. But, then we can play Qe8+. The king can't move so Qxe8 is forced and then we play R2xe8+ and after Rook takes. Rook e8 is a beautiful checkmate.

Puzzle Answer: White had to start with Rook to e8 offering black a free rook, in this position black has two options that he had to take the rook with his queen or rook, black cannot take the white rook with his rook because if he did that then queen to g7 is a checkmate. Therefore he will take the rook with his queen and guess what, black is totally lost, after that queen to f6 check, black had to block the check with his rook because he is left with no more options and then we will simply take his rook with our queen and that's a beautiful checkmate.
