GREAT demo. I have two of those Champ clones for running dual mono/wet-dry/stereo. I have a Laney Cub12r with the 1W setting! This proves that i can be Gilmour's Mini-Me 😂

The HiWatt tone stack is an unusual and complex one. The mid dip can't be eliminated as on a Marshall, but it is more versatile. Leave the Bass at ~5.5. Try turning the Treble down to 1, and listen to the upper-mid peak shift from 5~2kHz by adjusting the Middle from 4-10. Then leave the Middle between there somewhere and hear the upper-mid to high balance completely change while adjusting the Treble from 0-2. It's very scooped otherwise. I'd try using it with those kinds of settings and then choose the channels, increase the Presence and maybe reduce the Bass just a bit as needed.

dude... did you literally put this comment on like every review video for this pedal? Do you work for hiwatt or just some massive fanboy?

I just said nay to the Wampler Ge Tumnus video, but this is much more my style!!!!! I remember the video from TPS when Dan and Mick plugged an original power booster into a Hiwatt dr103. This looks like the best way to get close to that tone in the real world!!!

Love ya for this one. Killer playing and thorough go through as always. So you're sayin my 5w Champ needs one.....oops... another pedal! The hi watt side is sick. Then you get a fat cherry on top. So fat it's served on the side.

Great tones and killer playing as always! I’ve really been missing my champ that I sold awhile back. I may have to get another one and pair it with one of these pedals after hearing this. Did you mic up the cab for this? Would you mind sharing what mic or load box setup you used here? Sounds amazing, man. Thanks for all the great content!

Hi. Great demo as usual. Wanted to ask what to do with a delay pedal and the hi power. Would you put the delay in the Hi power's loop or after the Hi power? Thanks.

very nice! if there is one amp in a pedal i want it is one that does the hi-watt thing.

When using the effects loop should the HI power be the last in the chain. Or should delay and reverb be after it? Cheers great review. I love both of them.

It depends on the sound you are going for, but I would put it before your delay/verbs if you want the cleanest performance from them.
