Great video, lovely to watch. Just to clarify for those interested, it's GLENBEG Lough that you parked up in, not Doonbeg (which is in Co. Clare 😊)

OMG those reflection scenes @18:33 and later....just incredible. Yes that water is pure glass. Each time I think, how can your footage get any more stunning, we have another awesome video with shots like that. You sure there's no room in Ellie for those friendly critters you encountered? hehe. And hey welcome back to Saturday uploads! I remember when you used to post on Saturdays.

The beautiful Beara looking it’s best👍 It’s the least populated part of the south west, and off the main tourist routes unless your doing the WAW, giving it that special feel IMO. Glad you enjoyed it, it was a pleasure to watch.

Love how much you like cows and other animals :) Do you know about the cruel reality of dairy farming? 1⃣ In order for a cow to produce milk, she must give birth to a calf. She is artificially inseminated to become pregnant. Her pregnancy will last around 9 months. Within 24 hours of the calf being born, they are taken from their mother. The milk naturally meant for her calf is collected for humans instead. 2⃣ Male calves will not produce milk, so many are shot at birth. Others are reared for veal or low-grade beef. Female calves will be reared for milk production and impregnated at around 15 months old. 3⃣ To ensure a constant high milk yield, cows are re-impregnated 2 months after giving birth. The toll of near-constant pregnancy and milk production wears a cow's body out, and in about 5 years and she is sent to slaughter for low-grade beef products. Naturally, she would have lived for 15-20 years. 4⃣ Cows are bred to produce unnaturally high volumes of milk, which commonly results in painful teat infections and lameness. The dairy industry may advertise happy cows in an idyllic countryside, but this is far from reality for most farmed cows. Most people consume cows milk because they were told to by certified bodies many many years ago. Now new research has revealed cow milk to be detrimental to health with its saturated fats, mammalian estrogen, and somatic pus cells. Studies found countries that consumed higher amounts of cow milk had higher statistics of osteoporosis. Perhaps most concerning is the role it can play in elevating the risks of breast cancer, according to researchers at Loma Linda University Health. However, when compared with non-vegans, research shows that vegan diets are associated with a decrease in the incidence of all cancers combined. If you care about justice (and your health) please buy plant based options. :)

Back then books were rare and a priests livelihood depended on them. Its like hanging a horse thief in the western movies sounds petty but owning horse then was life and death matter.I mean if there is an emergency and the ambulance is stolen before the emergency services can get in it there is no death penalty now but that would still tantamount to murder.Ya i know its a story but these have a grain a truth and there was actually a war in ireland over a book

@@highlands2hammocks You were saying there that there is more old growth forest in ireland ,not really its only around that area the rest of the country is plastered with awful conifer plantations.I volunteered in killarney NP about 20 years ago helping to remove invasive rhodedendrons that destroy the native oak forest. They are few others but around kilarney has the most extensive old growth oak forests in the country
