Hi Liam I am 83 years and live in Texas. I have enjoyed your trips for a long time.. I use to live in Vermont and have hiked to Baxter State Park in Maine, mount Washington, NH ENJOYED it all with my wife.. you bring back memories. Looking for some new videos. Thanks l subscribe to your videos. John m. Mon July 17, 2023.
Think Liam surprised himself by becoming enchanted with Ireland. English visitors often feel oddly at home and abroad at the same time. Beyond the history there’s a lot of affinity too.

Absolutely. Being so close geographically the landscapes and weather are similar. Always love a trip to Ireland.

Ya I hear that a lot too. An average sized town in England would be an urban metropolis in Ireland. So to get into unspoilt rural Ireland must go deep for an English man

Same feeling with me from the Nordics. I felt at home in Ireland and even lived there for several years.

Great viewing … love the work .. have you ever encountered any scary stuff while camping .. ghosts etc 😂… keep up the great work… from Australia… come over pal
Much better than watching TV. Many thanks Liam Bytheway.
I just got back from Ireland. My dad was from Cork. Had a lovely cottage. The weather was great all the time. Lovely people too. It is similar to the U.K. A lot of history between England and Ireland but all the Irish people we met said “ah we are all friends now” they were lovely.

Ireland , one of the few countries where milk is cheaper then water in the shops. So many multiday hikes being developed in Ireland along old railway tracks. The future in Ireland looks bright for walkers. Subscribed.

Unfortunately the EU & the WEF don't want beef or dairy cows grazing on the land so enjoy it while you can - it will be midge burgers for our grandchildren unless we wake up !!

Drink, snacks and ready..... Thanks Liam
I really admire your spirit for all of these solo adventures. What a super way to spend your free time

Does anyone know why Liam doesn't appear to have any sponsors etc.? Would be great to think he's getting something out of all these brilliant videos! And would mean he gets to do what he loves.
A beautiful portrait of Ireland at it's best.
As a kerry man I'm delighted you enjoyed our county. One of my favourite parts was your face after sinking that pint of Guinness, pure joy!!
I love that you had a random encounter with a follower! That is so great.
Delighted to see you over here. Glad you had a good one. Beautiful part of Ireland down there. More Ireland please. 🇮🇪🫡

Cracking video Liam. Mount Brandon is actually the 8th tallest mountain in Ireland, interestingly Ireland is actually more mountainous than England, but behind Wales and Scotland. The views from Brandon really are stunning, providing you can get up there when it's not covered in coastal cloud; which really is not very often! There are other good long distance trails in Kerry, Galway, Mayo, and my personal favourite (Donegal).
These are Belted Galloway cattle which originate from Scotland. Perfect hardy cattle for rough Atlantic winds
Ireland is magical, i used to spend my summer holidays there as teenager, my uncle and aunt had a holiday home in Nenagh co Tipperary. Such magical times for me, going to Kilkee and Lahinch, standing on the cliffs at Kilkee, watching the Atlantic rollers come in, thinking the next land mass across the ocean, is the U.S.A. so many happy memories.

It’s actually Canada. Actually Northern Canada at that. Newfoundland and Labrador. I’ve grown up on the west coast of Ireland and it took me many years to get my head around New York actually being in line with northern Spain.

Nicely done Liam. I'm heading off on a solo hike down the Oregon Coast Trail this Thursday. 😎🤘💚🌊🌲
My wife and I visited the West coast last year, a week in March. The weather was stunning, people friendly but the Wild Atlantic Way between Sligo and Gallway took my breath away… simply stunning. This video brought back happy memories, so thanks for that Liam !

I love Ireland, my family on my father's side from County Mayo. I've visited. You can see why it's called the Emerald Isle. A warm, friendly, fun people. Liam, I really enjoyed this. Thank you.
For some reason I feel a spiritual connection with this country even though I'm not Irish lol. Your footage is stunning. You remind me of why I love hiking.

Gorgeous Irish countryside! Vibrant greens, blues, white& gray clouds all breathtakingly beautiful. Love the animals especially the goat on the table. 😊Fantastic trip, Liam. Love all your videos 🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🇺🇸
I didn't know the ticks here in Ireland can carry lyme disease! Thanks for sharing that bit.
I love tagging along on you adventures
Liam bro, I actually believe we had a chat in Tralee. Great to see your vid. Wonderful adventure you are on. Best wishes.
Just watching this in my tent, camped near Hadrian’s wall. After walking +500 miles from John o groats. Thinking this is all your fault Liam, after watching your LeJog video over 8 months ago now 😂. But in all honesty it has been one of the best times of my whole life so far. Scotland and it’s people have been gorgeous. Time to see what England has to offer. Cheers bro. Hopefully pump in to you on the trail one day.
I've loved walking for many years especially Costal paths I've been seriously ill and can't get out at the moment watching your videos has been a pleasure thank you it's a pitty there isn't more young men like your self thanks again Liam
Love when your videos pop up Liam. The Irish countryside is stunning! I have Irish, English and German ancestors my hubby has Scottish and English. We live in Australia and I thoroughly enjoy your videos, the only problem is that they end too soon 😢 thanks for taking us along on your hikes. 🇦🇺
‘It’s pissing down and it can’t get any worse, only up from here’. Great way to look at things mate. Not paying attention to time, timetables and forecasts is true freedom.
I envy you so much, but not in a mean, devastating kind of manner, but quite the opposite, actually. Your videos help me shift my focus from things I hate, dislike or lack, to the idea that there are still so many beautiful things to wish for and to dream of. And that the world is such a beautiful place. Somehow your videos take the anxiety away, too, and it's not only because of the tranquil scenery you show, it's the way you present them without boasting or trying to seem superior or more successful than your subscribers who watch you from home. Thank you so much and keep up the great job!

THIS! Thank you for putting it into words so beautifully, as many have in the comments. Liam's is the type of KZread that doesn't feel like mine and a lot of others experience of social media, if you get me :) It is how social media and life should be.
Excellent video Liam, you tell your story in a simple but entertaining way. I'm pleased you enjoyed your visit to this part of our country.
Great to see you on our Shores Liam, I live further north west on the Wild Atlantic Way. Come back soon. Doesn’t matter your accent nor heritage, nice people will always get a warm welcome here. (But for the record, Gaelic football isn’t played with “bats” 😅 You’re probably thinking of hurling. I’d recommend catching a game of either next time you visit!!) 👍🏻
It’s out! Always a great day when Liam uploads. Looking forward to seeing this adventure.
Very picturesque place indeed, thanks for taking us along again on this one.. 👍🏻 I’m also glad you raised awareness on those little blighters, the ticks!! They are in big numbers this year for whatever reason! I did 26 wild camps last year, with only 1 tick buried in my leg, this year I’m currently on 15 camps, and have already had 2 of the little buggers buried in my ankle/calf!.. That was the last straw, so now I’m all Permethrin’d up for all my future camps… So if they crawl on me now, they gonna die in like 60 seconds lol. Long grass, that’s where your most likely to pick them up! I totally avoid trudging through or pitching up in long grass.
Loved this one, each adventure you film is better than the one before, I don't know how you do it, clearly you have a bit of a gift there Liam
Another great walk.... and the Dingle is endlessly beautiful so it was nice to see an area I have been to myself.
That view at the top of the mountain was like a painting! Pure bliss
Delighted this popped up on my feed tonight, Beautiful part of this wonderful island.. And amazing that you managed to fit so much into such a small area of 🇮🇪 .. Plenty more to still explore further north on the west coast if you ever decide to look for another adventure over here. Great video again and great work 🤲
Great video Liam. Next time you’re in ireland you might want to walk around Connemara in the west and Achill island. Thanks for sharing.👍
Great pleasure walking with you today, Liam! I hope you don't mind me lending your feet from time to time, as I'm in rehab currently, not able to walk more than half a mile! Great stuff! Cheers, Tobi
This comes out at the perfect time, the day before an exam. What a perfect way to clear my head and relax 😁
Thanks
An enjoyable watch. Thanks. Come and walk round the Isle of Man.
Been waiting for this one, great to see you enjoyed Ireland, do visit again!
Your videos are like therapy. We really appreciate you. Look forward to another video.
Loving this. Glad you enjoyed our little island 🇮🇪 😊
Those cows are Belted Galloways - from South West Scotland. The beaches, there are Caribbean islands who would love those beaches, Irelands coast is just so stunning. P.S. an umbrella is really great for light showers.

I studied abroad in Cork, a bit further south than Kerry, for about 5 months in 2022. This video definitely pulled at my heartstrings! I think of my time in Ireland almost every day, and the beauty you captured in this video reminded me of how much I miss being there. Thank you for sharing this heavenly corner of the world, your videos are really wonderful. Cheers from America, and safe travels to all those who wander but are not lost.
Next time you come to ireland, you have to check out the Wicklow mountains!
**You finally made it to IRELAND after much deliberation. Well Done. I am sure it is one of those things in your llife that you won't forget. You seem to have the Stamina of a horse, The curiousness of a sheep and the spirit of a Goat. EXCELLENT VIDEO**

It's clear you put a lot of thoughts and time into your videos, this one was very impressive! 👏🏻👏🏻
What a beautiful (beautiful!) hike. Ireland is magical and the views on the "Wild Atlantic Way" are incredible. As a frequent visitor, we find everyone very friendly and welcoming. Our Ireland trips are some of our favourite trips with great new memories always made. Have you ever walked The Ulster Way in Northern Ireland? I think it's about 600 miles long and guaranteed to have breathtaking views along the way, too.
Welcome to Ireland bro, good to have you
Thanks Liam, another magical journey, I do so love your videos. Thanks mate. Dave

I've been looking for an area that would have a little of everything for my first long hike/camp in Ireland and this just helped make my decision. That peninsula looks beautiful. Thanks for showing this!

fantastic ramble ,keeping me fit watching you Liam ,thanks bro,
Thank you for this lovely video. What sets this one out for me is that you've kept the natural sounds in and didn't use music in your edit. I really enjoy that and think it helps with the realistic feeling that you take us all with you on your journey, thank you!
