  you are a youtuber, you must have been given a free power station ? Just use an electric underblanket. It will last all night and keep you as warm as toast overnight, if you don't have a diesel heater.

  Hari OM Yup, the main reason I am not putting windows into The Grey is that I love the cocoon darkness for sleeping - rarely have a sleepless night now! Do get some ventilation happening though kiddos - you know why! YAM xx

  Re sleeping and being cold, not sure if you aware if blow up bed on cold surface then that can effect the temp? Suggest a carpet if not already done on van floor. Sorry if you knew this. Loving the advert for visiting Scottish islands

  Yeah we also have our a carpet down after the night in the freezing cold and it seems to have helped 😁 glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🥰

  We've just had nearly 4 weeks in the Outer Hebs (Butt of Lewis to Barra) We've had 2 sunny days and then rest has been vile. What happened to summer? Thankfully we're now in a holiday let. Another week in the campervan would have seen us carried out in a box⚰️

  Hello guys, Really enjoying your vlogs! Funny you mention about every person waving at you when driving etc. Myself and my wife had a break at North Uist in April and as soon as we left the ferry every single person in a vehicle waved at us😂 I said to my wife “all these people are waving and I have no idea who they are 😂😂 And yes there is a thing called the North Uist wave 👋

  I’m very intrigued by how the small vanlife works. I sold my old motorhome recently to downsize to one of those little Ford Transit Customs. But I can’t decide whether to get the LWB high top for extra space - specifically for when the weather is bad.😅 so watching with interest to help me make my decision!!!

  Get the lbw high top. That's what we got after upsizing. My oh was getting a cricked neck and no sleep in the smaller van.

  It was tough for us this time as we didn’t have anything set up to cook etc inside the van 🤔 it was very much just camping with a big metal tent 😂 it is MUCH easier for getting around in though! Cheaper for ferries too

  They are great wee vans to convert just plan it out i got ideas of you tube but done it to suit our needs i.would start with taking the bulk head out and getting some windows in it makes a massive diffrence 😊
