I'm all about Greg's discussion points in this video. They are very logical, philosophically sound, and direct. There's no tribalism and emotional overflow to what he's describing (especially within his understanding of certain narratives being perpetrated from a utopian world view.) Obviously, the whole video is awesome but I had to give Greg his props, there.

The thing to keep in mind with Tom is he doesn't necessarily want you to agree with every single thing he says, there are times where he has contradicted himself song to song... He wants to make people actually think. He wants to start the conversations people are afraid to have. Hangover Gang forever!

‼️Alright so, get this…Tom literally RISKED HIS LIFE to make the video for “Sheeple”‼️ During the scenes with the eye in the sky, that was an abandon oil rig that Tom was standing on. I don’t know where. They used a drone for the aerial shots. At first Tom had climbed about 100 feet up onto a container transfer platform which he said was extremely rusty because the structure was very very old. But he made the climb up a set of stairs then a ladder. Once he got up there he noticed that the drone was not close enough to him and he called nova and asked her if they were shooting. Keep in mind Tom was terrified because the wind was blowing and he was really really high up. Nova ended up telling him that the drones navigation was telling them that the oil rig area was a no-fly zone. So Tom ended up taking 15 minutes to climb back down, he was very pissed at this point, and he decided to go to the outer edge of the oil rig just where nova could get the drone close enough to him and he decided to climb a ladder up on top of an oil drum. The bottom four rungs of the oil drum had been broken off intentionally to keep people from trying to climb it for safety purposes. Of course Tom threw caution to the wind and he jumped up to grab the first rung he could reach and started pulling himself up it. Once on top of the oil dum, Tom noticed it was very rusty and he was actually concerned of falling through. So in order to make sure Tom was safe Brandon Hart of all people, who was still in the states after celebrating Tom’s birthday, was hiding behind a pillar at the bottom of the drum on the ground below where Tom was standing in case he fell in the rusty drum which still had oil in it! The rungs broke off as Tom climbed down and Brandon had to brace Tom’s feet so he wouldn’t fall! They also used AI computer software programming to give voice commands to build the robots based on the way they pictured them to be! Talk about genius! And one hell of a support system! Now if that does not deserve props and respect…then I honestly don’t know what else does deserve it!! #Sheeple 🐑🤖🤘🏆⭐️🔥

He does when he makes the song. He's talented and creates music based on his mood at the time. He's not trying to hurt people's feelings. He puts all of his thoughts and feelings into the verses and has a conscious (human) message with therapeutic vibes in the chorus. Think about it, they wouldn't get "triggered," if they didn't listen to HIS songs.

His political songs are to invite conversation.

"Using minorities for diversity clout" speaks to race swapping or replacing characters to be seen as "inclusive and diverse" rather than creating new characters who happen to be organically diverse. Dropping minorities into european history (Anne Boleyn, vikings) or even European fantasy ( Rings of Power, Little mermaid) undermines all the history and new stories they could be telling without rehashing the past.

If Hollywood truly cared about diversity they would create brand new movies and series that we're faced with all these different diverse types of people but the issue people are having is like for instance the Annie movie this was a movie that was a little white girl with red hair and curls and its iconic because of that to change her over to a red-haired black girl seems wrong and actually disrespectful because you're just trading colors of the character. The reason people got upset with Cleopatra and they did get upset when Cleopatra was done by the White actress to but it was worse now because the original white lady that did the Cleopatra it was a movie it wasn't what they've done today which was a semi documentary supposed to be a documentary is supposed to be facts and the fact is that Cleopatra was Greek and from all accounts that have been seen paintings and stuff she was not black and because it's listed as a documentary imagine a future where they have gotten rid of all of the actual historical books and then people actually start believing that Cleopatra was a black lady and not a lady that was Greek. Yeah I got no problem with people having representation I have a problem when you start changing history to create a new history to cater to a certain population. And I'm sorry but I'm over it with that population I grew up poor white trash and my family is Irish you don't hear me crying for reparations and don't tell me that Irish weren't slaves were treated worse than black people because they were black people cost money back than the Irish however you could trade for tobacco or coffee. But keep saying that the Irish were indentured servants so if we go over to a country and kidnap people out of their country and sell them as indentured servants they freely signed onto that? But see they can't let people know about that part of the history because of two reasons one it would destroy their narrative for the black people and to you do not see a bunch of Irish out there screaming for reparations which makes the black people look kind of bad... The only major issue I have is someone still having a certain male part using women's bathrooms.... Do they realize predators will use that law to get to their pray? If someone has that part and I'm in the bathroom I'll gladly start the surgery needed for you to become a woman....if you have that dangle part you are male use the men's restroom.... PERIOD. I don't care if someone is gay STOP SHOVING IT DOWN MY THROAT. That's my opinion...it didn't bother me until their "moment" can put me, women and children in danger

I totally get it politics is depressing and annoying but if we are honest we can see that the leadership we have is because we refuse to take responsibility as adults and pay attention to politics even though it's not something we love to do if we get together as a whole and talk politics and hash out agreements in an adult manner then perhaps we can change our representation although unfortunately I think it's just a little too late we've ignored our leaders too much and they've gotten to the point where they don't even bother to hide their corruption anymore which should be a red flag to everybody. When the bad guy doesn't care that you know he's the bad guy it's not good. And just think about this when corporations care more about a silly score than they do about making money that should also be another red flag that something bad is up. Everybody's confused about why I'll tell you why because money is about to go down the drain. The powers that be have decided they weren't everybody digital so they can just cut you off at a press of a button. But I'm just a conspiracy theorist

The diversity clout is about checking boxes for the sake of checking boxes

When it comes to the "representation in Movies" and such... Im all for there being more Representation in movies and shows and such.. the ONLY part of that i dont agree with (in terms of how it is being done) Are Gender/Race swaps of "Existing" media, where the 'swapped out person' does EXACTLY what the original one does, says EXACTLY what the original one does, has the EXACTLY same mannerisms of the original. To me.. that is NOT 'representation', That is Hollywood saying "Sorry, we cant think of any actual instance, or any possible character, that can be 'you', so instead, we will find this pre-existing character that is another person, and replace them with you, have you act the same way, say the exact same lines, and dress exactly the same." and call it a win. To me that is WORSE than 'no' representation, because not only are you NOT actually 'representing' the individuals you claim your representing, but your essentially teaching/telling those individuals "The only way you'll be accepted is if you act EXACTLY like these other people".

Movie diversity is fine if they use new characters instead of changing existing ones

I think the reason he says it's for clout is because think about it, if they wanted to do movies for other races, they'd do original movies. Like them doing Cinderella and the little mermaid. Frozen could have been black people, toy story, etc. But they don't. They remake old movies and just put people of color in the roles.

The problem with pushing diversity in movies / tv shows / etc. is the pushing, not the diversity. If they make a lord of the rings show or some other show where there aren't any non-white characters canonically (or at least not in the region the story is set), and they then forceably put non-white characters in there or worse change white characters into none-whites... well that is the problem, not that these characters aren't white. I am sure the vast majority of people are perfectly fine with a variety of races being shown in various media, but it's clearly not happening naturally and it's often explicitly anti-white, among other things. I write my own stories, build my own world and I want to create my own comic books, a video game, etc. . If someone was going to change how my world works (in terms of what ethnicity / race people are in what location and at what time, etc.), then I would certainly be angry about it and fans would be right to be as well. It's done just so the "racial balance" is changed in favour of black people (most of the time). I mean they have literally admitted to this or even proudly proclaimed it. If people create a story in which it makes sense that there are only white / black / etc. people, then that is perfectly fine, just like it is fine to have stories with dozens if not hundreds of different races (Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.). It all comes back to the pushing of diversity being the problem. If a story was written that just happened to have a black protagonist, why would you be mad about that? But of course it is ideological bullshit if the character was originally white, but then the movie adaptation made him black. That certainly was not the best actor for the role, because he looks nothing like the character he is supposed to be portraying. This is not about one race being worth more than another, it never was. It's about (most of the time) white roles being filled with non-white actors explicitly because these actors are non-white. Pushing diversity is racist, it should never be done. If one wants to write a story with lots of different races or even specifically without white people for example, they can do that, but usually they go and bend an existing story to their political narrative. (And quite often their writers are terrible at their job, so that doesn't help, but it's a different matter). I'd much rather we just focused on writing good stories and forgot about any sort of immoral "race quotas".

Anyone that thinks biological men should compete in women's sports consider how disrespectful it is to biological women who have set records because of their dedication records that are now being broken by biological men too weak to compete versus other biological men

I lean right of center! Don't care what you want to do with your life. Just don't push it on the kids or down my throat. I don't have to see every single group of people in every single show or movie. It's getting out of hand. That's when people get fed up. When people on the left will knowingly believe a lie just because they don't like the other side. That's a problem. We should all be able to admit truth.

For a lot of us, representation in movies and tv is important, but write new scripts that are actually written with a minority character in mind as the lead instead of taking established movies that have always had a straight white male or female as the lead and remaking them with a minority as the lead. Sometimes that works, but a lot of times, it just is degrading to the minority actor because it's not written in a way that aligns with who they are. Hollywood has gotten lazy and they don't care about actual representation, just the diversity clout they can earn by recycling an old script and having a minority as the star.

That is kinda the point I was trying to make with my comment. Representation should be done in a way that can be owned, not stolen. Could you imagine Forrest Gump portrayed by a black actor, Bubba, white, Lutenant Dan native American, John Lennon Eskimo, and Jenny is a trans woman. Nope. Has diversity, but not relatable.

The entertainment industry doesn't give us good or new material. They just badly remake everything we loved. Give us new stories and new characters. Give minorities and others new stories and characters not hand me downs

I have to disagree on using a 'little black girl wants to see other little black girls' so things relating to that are acceptable because children don't notice the color of other children's skin. I believe if you focus on color at a young age, your just teaching racism at a young age. Pointing out color shouldn't be a part of anything. A white version of something and a black version of the same something isn't inclusion. It creates division. And history is history. Some good, some bad. Changing the color of a historical character to make other people feel included makes no sense cause their ancestors weren't there. If it doesn't work both ways, then don't change it. Example in case I'm not clear....both stories are not fact but are fantasy or make believe. One story has been told for centuries coming from white ancestry...Little Mermaid...with long red hair. Fine. But today it's been remade and portrays a young black girl. Fine. Where is the remake of Black Panther? Black panthers are found on several different continents including Asia, America and even Russia. So saying it takes place in Africa, so you can't change the race, won't work as an excuse. Black Panther could be of a different race but that's not gonna happen. Using the justification to change Little Mermaid, to make other races feel represented, seems to only apply to stories originating from white cultures, including white historical figures. Remaking a story, only changing the skin color puts the focus on skin color, not the story. That, in my opinion, sends the wrong message. Quit making everything about race. It sends the wrong message, even if it's a cartoon. Children don't notice the color of a characters skin color until an adult points it out. I've seen just as many clips of little black girls noticing the little Mermaid is now black as I have seen little black girls saying they made a mistake cause she isn't supposed to be black. Quit changing things to be 'inclusive'. All you are really doing is focusing on skin color and teaching racism to children. Where's the remake of Pocahontas or Mulan? Don't you want black children to feel included in those stories? Tarzan? Quit using children to pander racism...leave the children out. Just my opinion.
