Tom was totally broke, living in the hood in South Central LA. He made a song that went viral. Now, he’s a multi millionaire. He is an independent artist, and answers to no label. He speaks his mind! Every one of his songs speaks a message.

I was liberal for a decade until 2018 I started changing my views when it became apparent to me how much deep seated hate all my liberal friends around me had and I did not see that same level of hatred out of my conservative friends or family.....and i thought the liberals were the ones who were suppose to be more accepting and loving...I got played.

Most people are liberal when young because they are fooled by the false humanitarian agenda the left likes to claim, but once they start working and becoming an adult realize the other side is much better. Mind you I am sure most conservatives will tell you they do not like most the politicians even on the right in office as they are usually part of the same cabal. Trump (seemingly and hopefully) being the exception.

Well, I've got to say. I'm a senior, widowed lady, living alone on the farm. My grandsons were out for the weekend a couple months ago when I introduced them to Tom MacDonald's music. The oldest could not believe he had a Mema who knew more music than Queen, Pink Floyd and 60's hippy music! I'm the cool, awake Mema now in their eyes! lol

White boy song blew up and he paid big bucks to have it advertised all the time. I honestly thought it just wasnt a good song even though I could agree with much of it. Majorly click bait type theme with a hook that i still cant stand. I wouldnt have thought at the time that eventually id like the vast majority of toms music. But his real good shit is on the albums; or streaming services. KZread he knows semi political content gets views. His "deeper" more personal songs about mental health; relationships; addiction; hopelessness, religion, etc.... Those songs are what really hit for me. I think tom knows that those are rarely the songs that get attention; as he has been around independent hip hop for a long time and seen that the music about that stuff tends to gather a smaller but more engaged base of fans. Part of me loves the adam calhoun bit... Another part of me cant wait to hear what tom gets at on his own.

Black Pegasus and his guests go much deeper into what the lyricist is actually trying to say, giving a better understanding of the point of the song. I didn't have the attitude that the left is pushing right now. I became friends with those that would talk to me. Mark my words they were just as curious as me. Some of us are still life long friends. We went on through junior high and high school. Played sports together partied together and families hang out together. I understand the song, "to divide and concur." With us divided they can control us. You guys broke it down great, keep it up. A side note for those wondering why an old guy is listening to this music. This music started when I was a teenager. My generation is where it came from.

You asked about the prison sentences, so here's where my research took me. Yes, black people STATISTICALLY do slightly more time for "the same crime". Here's the twist. This is just going down a spreadsheet, not actually reading the court case. Most of the "abnormally" long sentences are actually plea deals where they pled down from a more serious crime, which explains getting the maximum sentence of the lesser crime that actually goes on the record. It's just another manipulated statistic to divide us.

❤❤❤ Love when you have Joe E on for Tom reactions, he has such genuine, amazingly compassionate energy, i just love watching him vibe to the music. I immediately subbed during the reaction when you introduced him to Tom's music. Honestly I love reaction videos where people introduce others to new music they haven't heard of yet and then discuss it, so those since you do that in to Tom I know you do a lot introductions to Ren which I love those videos as well, so much respect for you for that, because people need to hear their music, so thank you, and the fact that I get to watch the reactions is an added bonus. I appreciate watching people discuss the deeper issues that Tom puts out I feel like that's his motivation to begin with so watching people actually do that you know that these topics are getting discussed. The last thing I was just going to say is I'm glad you pointed out which I think only maybe one other person I've heard actually point out that specific line they will hear " that's trauma in your DNA causing what we see today" but no one speaks on the last part which is " I pray that you're staying strong, don't want to see no man in pain". I think with any reaction videos, people are looking for just that a reaction, so they pick obviously the more controversial songs which it's fine because obviously he wants those messages heard, but it really makes my heart hpppy when people can see Tom in that light of having compassion an empathy for others, I will say this again and again I think time is a very empathetic person, I truly believe and I've listened to every single CD he's put out I own them all, today's empath we are affected by the world around us more so than people who aren't because we can feel all that negative energy and angst, and it leads us to finding coping mechanisms aren't healthy like drugs and alcohol because it's the only thing that block those feelings. I don't know if you take requests for song reaction but if you do I request these if not I still think you should check them out on your own if you haven't seen him yet I tell everybody to check them out who does Tom reactions. There are two that I think are just super telling about Tom's character and who he is as a person. The first one is his spoken word NOT ALONE the second is his song HANGMAN. Not alone is his spoken word that I just can't imagine how anyone would not like Tom after they see that, hangman's a little harder to watch I think it does show his ability but it's a little more dark because during his initial relapse after he got sober, but the reason I say that song is because well I think in that song how the outside world affects him. Anyways amazing reaction as always.

I'm 51 yrs old now but always grown up taking everyone at face value even though family members friends and strangers around me would come out with racial slurs and joke's..my immediate family taught me to take everyone at face value so I've grown up to ignore the ignorant. If I grew up in a multi cultural area I would of spoken out more but I grew up in a white area. As I've gotten older I let people know I won't stand or want to hear anything negative about other races and cultures.. I'd have reasons to have bigotry as I use to attend n all Black boxing gym and was the only white boxer there..I recieved racist comments on a daily basis from the other guys in the gym.. this slowly diminished over a few months as they realized I weren't rising to it and when they sparred with me realized they wouldn't get away with any liberties.. Long story short we all became friends and got invited to parties and backstreet clubs. Truth is we're all Born into slavery and control.. the people who run the world are the 1% and the only way they can control us is by dividing us..these people can be traced back to Egyptian time's they operate under many guises but nowadays they own everything. Which is why its harder for people to wake up. I live in Hope over the next few years it's crucial we've only got a few years to defeat them.

I agree that once you have your first child you mature at record speed. You also realize that their brain is like a sponge soaking up everything around them. This is your chance to make sure they are soaking up the right information. It is imperative that every person teach their children right from wrong from an early age. They still need to learn history and know what happened in the past. Because knowledge is power. And we all need the knowledge to keep past mistakes from repeating.

Hi guys, I am Maori, indigenous people of NZ. I identify as Maori from genealogy and whakapapa- parents, grandparent, great and so on and land. Our Wake (canoe), Iwi (tribe), Hapu (sub tribe)and whenua (land), and my name. You see my name above, mum, dad, dads dad, dads dads dad. Colonisation happened here. But our connection to the land and our Tipuna and language has kept us steadfast. I know who I am. Identity is important. You, Joe E, Tom, Adam, those on your videos matter...RESPECT 🙏🙏☝️🤓

This is the second time I've seen your show. I love it!! I'm a 60 year old woman. yes, I like rap, rock, country, jazz, etc.... but I believe the government is trying to separate us. By race, religion, and our political views. I really hope more people open their eyes. We should all love each other. My husband God rest his soul. My was America Indian shawnee. My daughter inlaw is Hispanic. Im now trying to learn Spanish. Lol!! It hard. color does not matter. Most of my black friends will drop what they are doing to come help me. yes they are like my kids. They call me mom. I had to subscribe you guys are great !!!! Keep it up!!

#HOGarmy I was born in '73 and by the late 80s, I just had friends. I didnt think of any single one as a black guy or a white guy. They were just my friends. I heard r.acist things from my dad, but saw quickly that what was said and what I saw were vastly different. I made a conscious decision that those prejudices wouldnt continue thru and beyond me. So now, you got my back? Sweet, I got yours, too, 'til they put me down in that grave and I aint changing. Screw a skin color, becauee i only see friends or enemies, period. Most people I knew back in the late 80s/early 90's felt the same as me. Then something went wrong around 2008, when the last big recession hit. Sadly, I watched all my generation's efforts collapse. Suddenly, everybody wanted to divide themselves into the smallest group possible for no good reason. It just makes me sad that we lost all the progress, and are way worse off now than then.😢
