    0:12 I think "chewiness" might've been a more appropriate adjective, in English. At least, I don't think the oats will still be crunchy once cooked Although some of the toasted oats sprinkled on top after cooking as a garnish would have a crunch and sounds like a good idea now that I think of it

    I've made this this morning and the texture is perfect even with vegan protein powder (nu3 vanilla one which is really not that flavourful to begin with), it was so creamy and amazing. But there was barely any flavour to it so maybe it's because of the protein powder that I used? I still really enjoyed it and I would probably try it again thank you for the recipe (I also halved the recipe)

If you have a very good choco tasting protein and you like the taste, it all good and you also save some kcals because you don't add cocoa. For example, I am using MyProtein Whey Protein, which tastes not so good, except the vanilla one. I ordered 2 days ago a choco protein from Dymatize, which I understood is much better, so I'm curious if I will need cocoa with that one.

  • @TyrannoBide

    @TyrannoBide

    It's been well established now that there is no virtual limits to how much protein the body can absorb at once. It doesn't oxydize, it doesn't get wasted, the body uses it all. Be it in a weight loss, bulking or maintenance context, there is no disadvantage to eating even over 100g of protein in a single meal. The most important factor will always be how much total protein you ate during the day. How you space it out matters very little, though there is a very slight advantage to space it out throughout 4~6 meals in order to optimize muscle protein synthesis. But for anyone that's not a pro athlete already near or at top level, it really doesn't matter.
