Tbh, the artist has a decent level of skill (I'm a MUA). Her infection control was MUCH better than previous vids I've seen here. She also has a basic understanding of the application process but I think she just needs a little more practice on matching skin tones and just her general application process in general. She seems like she could be a decent MUA if she was given the right direction. But she has potential, that's for sure.

Yes, give this girl a foundation brush, and take away her powders. More percision with the contouring, non-yellow, matching foundation and it'll look fine!

It bothers me when they dont seem to have a wider range of shades. Soo yelllow😮Not sure what this look is for stage? The eye makeup is good though the application seemed heavy handed.

Well she started off ok and did perfect using what looked like new sponges. Then all of a sudden you were looking like you had jaundice.

Okay, tbh the makeup is really not that bad. I'd even risk saying that it's actually decent. For the amount of powder she used it doesn't even look that cakey. The only thing that is really off is the shade of the foundation. And the fact that it was actually very hygienic (other than that eyelash curler) is a huge win. Honestly, it's a very intense but overall okay makeup.

I'm sure I could match a foundation to Judy easily. IDK why everyone just has yellow tones on hand. Just, ew.

I had my make up done for our daughters wedding and I asked the MUA if she was familiar with doing makeup on older women’s skin. She said oh yea no problem. I looked like mortuary makeup. I said older not dead! You can’t use a lot of powder on mature skin it looks awful!

I would rather see a disposable mascara wand than the new sponge. Mascara is the most likely to cause real misery. Bacteria on the face is not nearly as problematic as that close to your eye. If I don't see clean mascara wands I'm not impressed. 👎

Just when I thought she was done with the powder, homegirl came out with more. She must’ve worked in a bakery previously because girl that makeup was CAKEY 😭 The eye makeup was really nice, though. It’s nice seeing a MUA using fun colors!

VIDEO IDEAS CHALLENGES 1.) get a bad review makeover! Don’t take it off and take it to the best review and they have to try and fix it without taking anything off( they can only take one thing off(up to you)) 2.) get a bad review makeover and take one side off and go to a good review mua and and they have to mimic the same makeup as the other side just using more elevated techniques but same colors and all.

Get a great make up everyday look from a pro mua and then just walk into a low rated salon as if she just slapped it on. They’ll have to take it off and do their make up. It’d be so interesting to see how they react to the great make up and then do theirs and how they compare. See if if it makes them nervous or perform better

Those eyeshadow colours were gorgeous. But with all that foundation and powders it creates it’s own texture. Those eyes though - not the lower lid liner, the upper eye was bomb.
