I became paralyzed after a serious boating accident. Doctors said I would never walk again. I have to thank the WNBA for giving me the inspiration to change the impossible. One day I turned on the TV and there they were the WNBA women. And somehow I was just so motivated and inspired. I inexplicably just stood up and was able to inch over to the TV and turned that shit off. I couldn’t find the remote.

The issue however, is that many idiots will post all bad plays of the WNBA and try to pass it off like this is the level of play. Calling out nba teams and players in a negative way, trying to cancel and push their opinions that aren't logical into others... they never once think the reason why wnba is not getting paid is because they make no revenue, but because they are women. She had a 1% chance of making that shot and she's lucky it went in because it was a bone-headed play with no awareness of what's happening on the floor. If I was her coach, I don't care if she made that shot - she's getting benched the next game. That's a grade-school decision at the supposed "professional" level. Just dumb.

WNBA could probably really benefit by dropping the rim about a foot. I know it seems a little condescending to the women but they really need something because embarrassing yourselves like this isn't helping to win over any fans. The league seems to get a lot less sympathy compared to other women's sports like soccer when the players so completely overrate their own abilities, loudly demanding respect and complaining about a lack of support, then going out and playing like this on the court. Eating a little humble pie could go a long way for them.

There is so much that can be done to improve on how entertaining it is. Lowering the rim is definitely one of them. To add to that they could also shorten the quarters, play in smaller stadiums. The reason why smaller stadium is because they play in these large stadiums where you can fit so many fans, but they never get sold out. They should play on courts that they use for college ball. If it's sold out, the energy is much better, which definitely make it more enjoyable to watch. They should definitely lower the tim, because the avarage height in the WNBA is much lower and woman have a lower vertical as well. If woman were able to dunk every game, their games become more enjoyable to watch and I feel like it's more enjoyable to play as well if you could just dunk over somebody. Imagine watching a wnba player do a crazy windmill dunk. I'd be hyped as hell. And of course last thing is definitely to shorten the quarters. Woman are biologically weaker than man. They can't go as hard as man for the same amount of time. Shorter quarters should make their games a little bit more intense. If the game is more intense, it gets more entertaining to watch. These are things the NBA can start with. Of course the WNBA is still very new so the ceiling isn't that high yet. In the next two decades we will see new generational female talent that will show the world that even woman can play some ball. Not just for the NBA but any sports. It's probably never gonna be as popular as the NBA. Why watch the G League when you could watch the Suns vs Warriors right? WNBA players and woman in general need to understand that woman don't get paid the same in sports not because they are woman, but because it's not as entertaining.

Dunking is passe now in NBA, for the most part. Three point shot is king. So, there's no point in lowering the goal, as 3 point shots are also an emphasis in WNBA. The NBA has even thought about cancelling the dunk contest at the All Star game. It was embarrassingly bad at the 2022 All Star game. One of the NBA players took about 8 tries to make one single dunk. Judges were totally befuddled. It was unwatchable.

WNBA players have NOT ever asked for equal pay. They play a shorter season. What they have asked for is decent pay and a similar percentage of the profits the league takes in. So, for example, if NBA players receive 50% of the NBA league revenue, some WNBA players have asked for a similar percentage of WNBA revenue. That's all that has been requested. And, a year or so back, the pay was increased. It will go up more, as the league just raised an additional 75 million in new investor funding in 2022. So, the goal is to get the pay up enough to discourage players from playing overseas in the off-season. Reasonable pay is what they are wanting.
