@@Rey-gq2il You can get thrown in jail and killed in the middle east for being gay, you can also get arrested for minor offenses for being a woman. In Cuba, you can get 6 months to 2 years for small amounts of weed, 2-4 years for bigger amounts, and 15-30 years for international trafficking. Other countries have different rules, it isn't that hard to look them up to see what you can or can't do. Stop applying American law, culture, and logic to problems of other countries. This is especially more important when you're in a country like Russia who is known for disliking America and being a dictatorship. The moment they can get someone to fuck up they throw them in jail and try and make them to fuck up more so they can get them more years and have other countries negotiate for their release (exactly what happened with Brittney). It happened once in North Korea with a US military and is once more happening again with another soldier. It has even happened in the United States.

I'm pretty sure the WNBA takes their percentage out of the total revenue...not the revenue left after expenses are subtracted from profits. The majority of WNBA teams don't generate a profit...so their players need to be paid out of the total revenue generated and the NBA needs to subsidize the difference in order to make sure some teams don't go under. If they were paid out of their profits...like most other sports leagues in the World...your point would be true. They'd either have to pay to play or teams would start folding because they couldn't afford to pay them.

The NBA should apologize, and say “You’re right, you could run the WNBA better without us. So it’s better we go our separate ways and then you can generate all of your own revenue and pay people whatever you want.” The WNBA is exactly like buying a homeless person a house to live in, then after a few years, they complain that their house isn’t as nice as yours. If the WNBA lowered the rim, and were actually fun and likeable, the league would do 10x better. Remember back in the 2000s when the women’s soccer team were the darlings of America who’s matches were insanely popular, even more so than the men? It’s because they weren’t constantly whining and existing solely to be a victim.

Women's professional golf has the tees not as far back as the men. 40 or 50 yard longer shots into greens would make for less dynamic shot making and scoring for the women on tour. It just makes so much more sense to have the rim a bit shorter. Find out what the vertical jump average is for men vs women and adjust. Or you could just experiment with a 9 1/2 rim or 9 1/4, and see the difference it makes. Could be a real positive. No sense in letting pride keep you from exploring opportunities to improve the game and make it more fun for the players and fans. Without trying something new, we wouldn't have a shot clock, or a three point line.

Not to mention most families have not adopted this Gay Agenda/Lesbian Agenda the United States is pushing…so that means homes with Men as Dads refuse to take their daughters to those games to see women dressed as men and kissing women and being in relationships with women on their social medias (because young fans will follow socials of players they admire). I know of house holds with single mothers as well who refuse to go to the games because of that. They rather take them to NBA so they can see men act like men do men things, so their daughters can like things about a player that are in line with their beliefs. I personally don’t have an opinion either way, in terms of the specialization of the WNBA toward being masculine. I only wonder if the game was more adept to their abilities overall, it would be good for fans. Yes there is a group of 3 women who can dunk, but the other 2,600 players can’t. The ball is smaller, make the rim bigger, bring the basket lower, make the court shorter and add a 4 point spot on each wing of the court. And every time a woman makes 5 shots in a row weather lay ups or jump shot, give them “On Fire” extra point. Have to try something….because this is not working. 30 years have proven that.

Coaches should lower the rims before practice to 9.5 ft and see if there is a difference in their games. If you're a professional athlete, you should be able to adjust to whatever is thrown at you. The WNBA players, most of them, are delusional but, I'm sure that there are some that agree with the lowered rim solution. The reason that WNBA do not like the idea of dropping the hoop down is because they already get belittled for having a smaller ball, closer three point line and smaller court. Meaning that some people will always be rude and criticise their achievements. At the end of the day, this is a women’s league why should it have to replicate a men’s game to be entertaining. I play other sports that both men and women play like Aussie rules football, where instead of following the mold of the men’s game, the women use different tactics and strategies to play. It doesn’t make the game less entertaining, it’s just a different game. Also women sports is finally catching up to men’s sport in the way that it’s getting more competitive at a young age, which leads to more skilled and athletic players. But in saying that there are still many ways in funding that the girls sport is lacking. I coached a girls team to a grand final win, yet they still receive less funding and resources than the boys team which didn’t place top 6. Also I feel like the WNBA should have been the same teams as the men’s, it’s been successful across the world keeping the same names. It means that a supporter of the Warriors for the men’s doesn’t have to buy new gear or find a new loyalty in a team, they can just start supporting the women’s. Idk why they didn’t do that.

They complain that they dont want to change the rim to make it easier to play. Nobody points out the fact that the wnba ball is slightly smaller and lighter than the nba ball. This is to make it easier to dribble and pass, and easier for the ball to get in the hoop. They just need to make it easier to dunk. Nobody would lose respect for them and the game would become waaay more enjoyable

Took my family to a WNBA game a couple years ago, worst attitudes ive seen in sports besides the USA women's soccer team(shocking I know) The next problem was that there was nobody in the stands and whatever your picturing it was less, much less. Finally my kids who (two girls and one boy) all play basketball, seriously thought it was some kind of opposite world Globetrotters i believe my daughter called it, because where as the Globetrotters make everything and are all fancy with amazing ball control, this was not that! Not that at all! Missing open shots, layups, turn overs, even free throws weren't made consistently. To this day my kids are older and know about the WNBA and its a huge topic at family get togethers about how we warped into another dimension and watched an opposite world basketball game lol

They're in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. As soon as they cut it loose, people would come out of the woodwork to complain that women aren't supported - people who never watch a single game, mind you. So the NBA just pays the small "tax" to prop it up. What's mind-blowing is that more in the WNBA don't see this and have the sense to take what they get from the NBA. And if they want more, figure out how to do it by making their league more exciting. Instead, they exploit the tenuous link to the NBA at every opportunity to guilt more money for their players. It's just professional gold digging.
