you are in Mega Kuningan, but the most modern, luxurious and prestigious area in Jakarta is SCBD, you can go to SCBD by taking the MRT train, Istora Mandiri Station.

It feels like something is missing if you haven't visited SCBD, a modern area in Jakarta. It's truly a shame to miss it.

Area u visited isnt bisnis centre guys but embassy area....scbd is bisnis centre....much more fancy than mega kuningan....there are two fancy malls ashta n ritz carlton hotel n mall....

Are you joking? It is a business district! even though some embassies are located there. If you noticed, the embassies are located at surrounding area only. Inside the area particularly right in the center of it... obviously there are plenty office buildings with many business occupants. Not to mention that XL is having their HQs right over there. How can you not saying it is a business district? dont just refer to SCBD when mentioning business district in Jakarta. Come on bro... SCBD isnt the only business disrict in Jakarta. Yet, the famous two are SCBD and Mega Kuningan whereas both in South Jakarta. Actually there are more business district in Jakarta but mostly in a smaller area and not having high rise tower.

There is 3 main rail transport that serves Jakarta: 1) KRL or Commuter Line, which spread all over the city and even into the surrounding Metropolitan Area, all the way into different satellite cities like Depok, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi. 2) LRT,, which used for long-distance travels from East area (Bekasi) to the city center. They're faster and distance between stations are longer. 3) MRT, which only limited to the core of the city which spans north-south axis. Each serves different Area and purpose. The backbone which is KRL or Commuter Line, and you shouldn't buy the transport-specific cards, better to buy the Livin Mandiri emoney / BCA Flazz card which you can top up and use in all transportation and even shopping.

Actually, your commuter card can be used to ride all available modes, it's just that the card can only be refilled at train stations / KRL commuter train stations. The most flexible card that can be refilled anywhere is the e-Money card which you can buy at Indomaret or Alfamaret outlets, or at the bank. e-Money cards can even be used to pay tolls, parking and shopping transactions as well. ENJOY JAKARTA ❤.

Those upper line you see is actually highways for cars haha, most LRT and MRT routes are underground in the middle of the city, only when you get to the outer city they become elevated.

Jakarta has a golden triangle business district: SCBD, Gatot Subroto, Kuningan and Sudirman and Thamrin where many skycrapers, 5 star hotels, and apartments, embassies, multinational companies, and shopping malls. You just visited one area ie: Kuningan😂. For reference only for your next visit to Jakarta in the future. Btw enjoy your trip to China.

most of millionaries are living at south jakarta (Pondok Indah) and North west jakarta (PIK- pantai indah kapuk)...in the PIK the house like a mansion with the backyard you can park a yatch or even a helicopter, but not everyone can enter that area..

And if u want to xplore higclas area, you can visit menteng/taman suropti (special rich man area. Also u can visit IKJ/ institute kesenian jakarta,(still in menteng area), u can inside meet alot of college art/acttres from that university, ect.. Btw dont forget to TMII/ taman mini indonesia Indah (miniature of indonesia) As u Know, indonesia is paradise subscriber for youtubers in the world😅.. to be real .. they’re not allowed to roam the inside SCBD .. semi homeless people lives in slum area .. yes they still live in semi permanent house .. mostly uneducated doing informal jobs .. come visit Jakarta to experience yourself ..

Mungkin kalian harus coba mol Casablanca tak jauh dari Kuningan city

Billioners live in Menteng ,Pondok Indah or Alam Sutera ,where the land is larger. .....outside business districts.....

Not only those neighbourhoods bro, there are still many more such as Kebayoran Baru, Permata Hijau, Polonia, Kelapa Gading, Pantai Indah Kapuk. And greater Jakarta like Bintaro, Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), Gading Serpong, and Cibubur.

Oh no!!! That's such an unpleasant experience 🤦🏻‍♀️ Actually experienced the same on my flight back to UK just recently 🙃 seriously, airlines should do better for their passengers
