Jakarta is Jakarta, its characteristics are different with Singapore. Every city has their own unique. by the way, the meaning of "semesta" word is "universe". the particular sky crapper building in front of Pacific place is the indonesian stock exchange building. scbd is the top notch business district in Jakarta. at the opposite area in front of scbd area is GBK. its the national stadium complex. its a big area including few smaller stadium for various sports arena and there also city forest area. if you visit this area in the afternoon you can see various local activities, from doing sports like joggingh, or hange out and sitting around at the open space area at city forest near the koi pond.

Jakarta is Jakarta, an old city that was formerly called Batavia, a multi-ethnic city (indigenous, Indian, Arab, Chinese) with a multitude of problems but never giving up on finding solutions to make this city better. Jakarta is now much better than in the past

My suggestion for your next visit to jakarta, emoney card is a must have. You can use emoney card for every public transportation in jakarta commuter train, LRT, MRT, and also transjakarta bus. You can have it in any drugstore such as alfamart indomaret family mart ck lawson etc. Or you can find it in nearby mandiri bank as you can find it in google maps. Hope you enjoy jakarta and comeback again later 😊

Indonesia Super Indah, Beragam Budaya yg Ramah2, Kuliner yg Unik2 dan Enak2, salam dari Sumatra Barat.

Scbd cuma area kecil di jalan sudirman thamrin...gedung2 tinggi di jalan sudirman thamrin lebih banyak daripada SCBD.... Gedung2 tinggi di jakarta banyak terdapat di jln sudirman thamrin, jln Gatot subroto, jalan rasuna said kuningan.......di wilayah tersebut ada scbd ,mega kuningan, rasuna epicentrum....

The entire "Golden Triangle" of Jakarta is very small buddy, it's only equivalent to one Business District in Metro Manila, Philippines..SCBD is only 45 hectares, Mega Kuningan is only 54 hectares and Rasuna Epicentrum is only 53 hectares and Kuningan Persada is only 17 hectares, when we total it, the entire Golden triangle has a total land area of 169 hectares only. Meanwhile, the BGC of Metro Manila alone is already 240 hectares, Makati CBD is 171 hectares, Ortigas Center CBD is 100 hectares, and so on to more than 30 Central Business Districts of Metro Manila. I've been in Jakarta for a couple of times, yes Jakarta has good public transportation but in terms of CBD the good looking area is only along Sudirman Street other areas are just typical.

@@adityaaditya9159Hahahaha...Defining a luxury building buddy isn't solely based on its sleek glassy exterior; there are numerous aspects to consider when classifying a building as luxurious...If you mean that there's a lot of glassy facade building in Jakarta than in Metro Manila, I will encourage you to come and visit Metro Manila and count the buildings here with glassy exteriors.

yes, actually this MRT was built in 2013 and inaugurated in 2019.mrt phase 2 is being built and will eventually reach the old city

I as an Indonesian think the price for eating at SEMESTA is really worth it, with a set meal like that the price is reasonable, what makes it expensive is that there is an additional service fee and tax, but overall it is satisfying. for a restaurant in a city, the prices are reasonable, what surprised me was that the area was actually an elite area, so when I saw the prices, they were practically cheap for such a modern city.

Great video. Exploring different areas is a good idea for your filming activity. Just take a public transport to another place, if bored with Jakarta you can try to the greater's like the city of Bogor with KAI Commuterline red line, or intercity to Jogjakarta by train from cheapest to luxury train experience.

fyi, if you want use multi trip card for many transportation you can buy card from Bank in Indonesia, like Mandiri E Money or BCA flaz, you can buy in mini market Indomaret, so you can use Commuter line, MRT, Trans Jakarta with 1 card

The flashing yellow light means the vehicle passing must be careful. In your case, some light traffic in SCBD have a button below it, you can press it to turn the crossing light to green and the traffic light to red. Not all area have it though....

MRT phase 2 is in the construction stage, and the next stage is planning. there is a new Jabodebek Lrt in the trial phase, plans to open on the 26th

Jakarta also has many beautiful island and beaches You should go there Kepulauan 1000 ( 1000 islands ) Such Bidadari island , Pramuka island , Pari Island , Macan Island, Putri Island , Kelor island etc ...

If Carolina likes avocado she must try avocado juice, it's so good and one of the most favorite juice by Indonesian. You can find avocado juice everywhere in Indonesia. That resto named "Semesta" , in English means The Universe. Dude, what locals and foreign vloggers very very rarely do in Jakarta are go to the islands in north of Jakarta, called "Pulau Seribu" (the thousand islands). You can stay in a bungalow in the middle of the sea, so awesome, just googling it "Pulau Seribu Jakarta" or "Jakarta's thousand islands" .. It's mean if you still in Jakarta and missed beach or little island atmosphere, go to Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu) by boat, they are located off the north coast of Jakarta , and the territory still belongs to the city of Jakarta, part of North Jakarta. It's means you still in Jakarta. This is what most people forget, even by Jakartans, that Jakarta has many islands and you don't have to go to Bali.

Try visiting the city of Cirebon, West Java, especially East Cirebon. There is an area called Alun Alun Ciledug. There you can find unique things. You can take the train from SENEN Station, Jakarta, heading to Jogyakarta. Then you get off at Ciledug Station, Cirebon.

I've been to Jakarta 3 times and loved the SCBD area - it is very modern and used the MRT as well. Honestly, it is a fantastic city to visit especially if you are visiting Bali or Lombok like I did

Totally agree! Usually we find capital cities quite interesting mainly because there’s so much to do for everyone! But Jakarta was a different world compared to any other cities or areas on Java 👀🇮🇩

jakarta is jakarta brother...this is a very big island.... jakarta has several regional divisions...such as south jakarta, central jakarta, east jakarta, west jakarta and north jakarta...each place has its own differences and diversity respectively...yes but this is Jakarta which is currently developing a lot and catching up with all the other big cities in the world...so enjoy our Jakarta as it is

In Jakarta, you must visit and eat in Gentong Mas. It's in SCBD area, near Pacific Place. Recommended!

Thank you! The pollution was very bad for us… After walking for a bit it was impossible not to have a cough 🥺 We strongly believe that situation gets better there because it’s very unhealthy for people and unsustainable for the environment too…

Former Governor of Jakarta (DKI), Basuki Tjahaya Purnama, was the one who put a lot of effort on the modernization process of the city, especially the transportation.

You must visit PIK 2 area in north jakarta, in there you can see the modern china town, and see many instramabel desain very beauty and very orgenise also
