I am going to Bali for the first time this year, I have to admit I was a little saddened after booking as I thought tourism will have had a negative effect on how tourists are seen by the locals, this fills with me joy, I will treat the country, culture and its people with upmost respect when I am there. I just came from Bali for 5 nights for cousin's wedding in Renaissance Uluwattu Bali Resort and Spa. And I've been lots of places in Bali as well. I had a great time there. I love the Balinese food there. Now I'm in Jakarta for a few days, then back to reality. Which means work. 😅😅😂😂😢😢😢

The answer is yes! Look for local eateries / warungs that are widely available on the outskirts of the village.
