  • @BananaCake26

It's because they're the only species we take with us and then let roam free. Other species can't "dominate" because we don't bring them. If we brought eagles and wolfes, they would dominate the cats. It's also not "amazing", it's an ecological disaster and one of the many way in which we destroy nature.

Either A- that coolness makes them dangerous to humans B-that cuteness is offset by them being bad for crops or in an area we want to occupy instead C- we think another animal is cuter (like cats) and that new species wholesale slaughters them D- we thought their coolness gave them special properties and hunted them down. And of course, we can't forget the simple fact that some of these are only cool because they're rare. there are tons of cool things about most species, but raccoons don't seem as impressive because you're so familiar with them. they're mundane.

Second strongest bite among marsupials** not mammals. Strongest bite force amongst mammals is Hippo, followed by the Hyena.

I almost always learn new things about animals from your videos, but it's rare that I learn about an animal even existing for the first time from them. This is one of those rare times, and I thank you gushingly. By the way, please talk about tanukis!

My brother in law is from Sydney Australia and was telling me about the vicious drop bears when I first met him several years ago. You should do a episode on the blood thirsty drop bear, the scourge of Australia tourists. Haha. Great episode, those guys are so awesome. Thanks for another great one.

Good coverage of these charismatic Australians. The Perth zoo has had great success with captive breeding and reintroduction of the Western quoll (chuditch) and this has now been taken up by the Western Plains zoo in NSW
