Tasmanian Devils Have No Right Being This Cute

Deep on one of the most remote islands on the planet lives a creature so evil sounding that when westerners first heard it howling through the night, the only name they could come up with was... The Devil.

Imagine descending into hell and you’re greeted by Satan, but he’s one of these things and desperately trying to convince you that he’s scary and not adorable “I’m the Devil, fear me! *angry squealing noises*” I mean, if angels are eldritch abominations that say “be not afraid”, it would make sense that demons look adorable/harmless but demand to be feared

Is one's scariness ultimately determined by one's physical appearance or words and actions? A little creature, no matter how cute or harmless-looking, engaging in diabolically immoral activities like for example: murder, torture, pedophilia, bestiality, cannibalism, rape, etc still doesn't seem very "cute" to me :/

@@jadiellima8922 You "correcting" the terminology used by Soviet Kappa is a blatant act of virtue signaling. "Settlers" is a perfectly fitting word to use in this scenario, considering- He could be talking about the tens of thousands of "Convicts" ,which whom were forcibly taken from their native lands and families, shackled and chained, loaded onto crowded transport ships to be sent to the Penal Colony of Van diemen's land (Tasmania). Considering that 50 percent of modern Tasmanians are descended from these people- who were taken from their native lands and forced to build the foundations and infrastructure of this new Penal Colony, all while being repressed, humiliated, chained and whipped. I think it unfair to try and label all Europeans in the "new world" as "Colonisers", although you're technically correct - this word has certain connotations , especially since you thought to correct Soviet Kappa. There is an obvious Judgment on your behalf of the people that "settled" this Island of Tasmania. For Example, If we were talking about the History of Brazil, imagine if I were to suggest correcting the term "African slaves" to *Colonizers, that would be disrespectful to the memory of these people and also disrespectful to their descendants, wouldn't you agree? Even though they technically were colonisers from the perspective of the indigenous populations . The North Eastern state of Ceará was the first to make slavery illegal in Brazil (which you will surely know) are the children of these newly freed men and women colonisers?, I would consider them settlers, settlers who were also victims of colonisation, just like a huge proportion of European (and non European) Australians. I would try not to make blanket judgements of people without knowing the full story, history is complex, it is nuanced, it isn't black and white.

Mr. E when I was a kid my family had a hunting cabin we would spend time at in the summer, and I was always afraid to walk into the woods where the outhouse was because of the frequent coyotes and bears. Hearing these things would have literally scared the piss out of me!! 😂

Have been paying attention? Australian playerbase is pathetic. They her classes can't even compete with mid-level mains from any other server. The best the can do is an overgrown rabbit that can't even walk. Australia is entry level at best.

When I was a kid, my family visited an animal reserve where I actually pet a Tasmanian Devil. This was only possible because our guide hand reared them. We also watched him feed them chunks of rabbit, fur, bone, and all. Watching them eat showed how scary they can really be.

Beautiful little animals. I was really lucky to get to spend a month volunteering with the Save The Tasmanian Devil Program in 2009/10. We trapped them in humane traps, lured by the scent of wallaby meant. We caught dozens of them over the month. Most of them had DFTD but a few were healthy. It was a great experience and happy to see that these little guys are still around, and to have maybe helped it a bit. Thanks for the video!
