God has had a plan before creation and he is still in control. We don't lean on our own understanding as humans you look at the crazy things they are saying to put fear in our life's. Trust God and it all works out for his Glory. 🎉🎉🎉Amen 🙏

We have been given charge, but we have abused that responsibility. We have selfishly over consumed and not respected our environment in the way we should. The earth this time around will be destroyed by fire, and we are accelerating that outcome.

Self-appointed, commercial AiG “Bible” teachers and prophets to the nations, which are not commissioned by nor answerable to any church, are not God’s design for the authoritative proclamation of His truth. But that doesn’t appear to matter because it is not mention in Genesis 1-2.

Remember that the Genesian imperative to mankind was given in terms of man's imageness of God. So to be 'god' in his creation: to love it and care for it, delight in it, as he did. Post fall, none of this works of course, so we must tread carefully aware of the rot of sin in our hearts. Still, that doesn't mean we turn around and worship either the creation or its creatures!

We are destroying it by our sinful activities. Sin entered the world, but sin is not some abstract concept. It is OUR willful conscious behavior, against the will of God, to destroy the earth rather than rule it. So when we blame sin we are really blaming our will that is not aligned with God's will. It doesn't HAVE to be this way. God never forces us to sin.

Martin, a question for you given you are a highly educated man. How old is the earth? No need to be exact, approximate will do. Some say 6,000 years, give or take, what do you reckon?

The problem is, there is no shortage of people who are willing to tell us what God wants. Sometimes they agree with each other, many times they do not. God apparently doesn't mind that because God doesn't do anything about it. God could buy a newspaper and use it to tell the human race what the plan is, but God doesn't do that, leaving the field open for all sorts of interpretations, and interpreters.

As the earth is, technically, a nuclear reactor, and since "Adam's sin" initiated a (very slow) meltdown, we are responsible for the destruction of God's creation.

God made this earth in such an extremely resilient way, that it is laughable that some "experts" believe mere mortal humans could ever destroy it. God alone can destroy the earth.
