A sermon from a Preacher once said something on the lines; "The man who's most man is Jesus". John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. Matthew 11:11 Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Luke 9:9 Herod said, “John I beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see him. Matthew 4:20-22 Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. Matthew 4:19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Your real work starts when you get home from your secular job. If you are single, it's getting stuck in the scriptures to be equipped to serve others or a future family. And when you have that family, to pour yourself into their lives instead of wasting it on meaningless things. Your secular job is for 'tent making'. Affording you the opportunity to provide for your family and others.

There are plenty of irresponsible men & women around. Maybe that's another reason why they change sex. Maybe it's the ultimate irresponsible act. This sort of teaching is sadly lacking in our churches. The men who used to teach this as their ministry aim are all gone. God has given us up to our lustful desires unless we choose life through Jesus. Thanks Martin. Keep it up.

Thank you Martyn, thank you for having the guts to speak the truth, which is not always welcome and popular in today's society. I hope you will have as much boldness to tell women that they have one of the most important jobs of all and that is to bring children into this world, to nurture them and raise them to be the best that they can be, with a love, knowledge and respect for our Heavenly Father. They should also assist their husbands in whatever career path he has chosen......That won't go down too well! It's the truth, but so many people don't want to acknowledge the truth these days.

Adam alone was directly instructed by God not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good & evil. Adam failed in his responsibility to protect & guide his wife Eve when the serpent appeared in the garden. Eve replied to the serpent with an inaccurate second hand version of God's instructions to Adam which she added to include not touching the fruit also, least you will surely die...which is different from a command NOT TO EAT the fruit of that specific tree. The serpent knew Adam had failed to communicate God's words/instructions properly & used this to deceive Eve, getting her to doubt the truthfulness of God's Word. Adam failed to diligently teach his wife, then tried to blame both her & God for his lack of spiritual responsibility.

Of course, Cole meant "christian" man. "christianity" is very often not a choice. It has to be inflicted on defenceless children via insidious indoctrination. Cole knew this because he was a 'prophet'.

We have to be very careful when translating the word 'man' from the Hebrew or Greek Bible. No 'roles' were 'assigned' in Genesis.. A role is not intended to be gender based, for life. I haven't yet found a passage in the Bible that talks about 'masculinity' or 'femininity'. The word 'head' may not be translated 'authority' but 'source'. It does take courage to say there are only 2 genders, though.

A man is not Jesus I’d rather have Jesus . They don’t step up to the plate or put anything on the table . I have Jesus no man ever provided for me I lived on the child endorsement & he took all the money for himself & for his business & his ministry. I survived & so did our children we are now strongly independent. & I now have Jesus my husband got sick & died & we all provided for ourselves & lived by faith . 😂 love u Jesus so much I never had anyone step up for me . They are no longer strong capable men . Woman are so strong now do we really need to wait for them to step up when we have such powerful pastors men & woman now .

The greatest responsibility that all humans will ever face is the obligation of logical thinking. It cannot be avoided. Lessons in biology, anthropology and psychology from someone who demands that you worship their god, on pain of death, are not logical, but usually just tormentative. Thrift, perseverance, communality, endeavor and provision were all human traits long before the corrupting influence of the "christian" religion. Suspiciously, religion is almost entirely man made and male centric. BTW on page one of genesis god is already plural, (us, our) and makes both men and women. Producing a woman (later on) from a man is standard religious misogyny.

Jesus saw all that was wrong in the world. Slavery, colonization, unscrupulous tax collectors, the lack of justice and equity etc… He didn’t address any of it. Why? Because the only way to remedy anything is to have a right relationship with God. Politics and laws do not change mens hearts. Only a loving obedience of spirit can do that.

If you think that your religion is the most important thing on Earth, ever, then you will never find the courage to ditch its ugly superstitions, lurid myths and strange ideas. If you think that your religion will improve your manhood, then you will never find the courage to live a decent life without the spectre of its sinister sky monsters.

  • @lauraandrews1676

Right, because people are surely becoming more decent and moral as God is erased from every aspect of our society. Sorry, but if you think there is no higher moral authority than yourself, then you can literally define morality as whatever you want, which we see happening all around us. We have become a society of a million gods because we rejected the one true and living God.

  • @rf7477

@@lauraandrews1676 I will guess that you mean the "christian" god. Of course, morals, ethics and human decency all existed long before the corrupting influence of the "christian" religion. The "christians" invented their god and then gave it the power of life and death over everyone. Alternatively the "christian" god can keep his own children in a state of living death. If you demand worship of that god, on pain of death, then you are morally inadequate. The illusion of "christian" morality does not erase its miasma of intolerance. Since this thread is about manhood, when "christianity" embraced goons like Ravi, Donny and Vlad then it defaulted on its last remaining crumbs of credibility.
