@@1badjane493 it's ok, you can call me jezzybell. That doesn't really affect me because I don't believe in your whole reasoning behind why the word is bad. I can be a slut and that's totally fine because unlike you, I actually enjoy freedom. And saying I'm going to burn? Wow! There truly is no hate like Christian love. @MarkDriscollMinistries This cant be 100%. Christ himself did not marry. The spiritual conflict within a person is not resolved by merely maintaining a status quo. We do have to grow as men AND women, but it doesnt mean that the men who came before us, many or most of whom were motivated to do all of what you said through lust, greed, worldliness, shallow mindedness, and ego were altogetger right. Or else we'd have nothing to grow up to and away from... If you follow Christ, his message is a spiritual one that did not directly involve any of what you are saying. I cant trust your message even if it is well intentioned. This is not to say that what you are saying is wrong... but it is only one barren and lifeless side of the story. We all know when we are walking in the Spirit and not weak in the flesh... spiritual freedom has always been gradually won like the story of Christ in the desert. In an odd way, rejection of stress and faith in the worldly things you demand, makes at least myself better at doing them... and better at doing them honestly/naturally. And i think this may be because any orderly thing i do in this world must be done in the Service of God and for the sake of heaven for all his Creation, and not primarily for me to be the "Best" or "Good" man. I am Willing to believe that God Will Guide me if my Goal is Right... that I am dependent on God... if not then what are we even believing in?

@@MotownModelsYes in seeing how Christians interact with people like you am i increasingly disillusioned. Certain messages seem to lead them to settle and feel comfortable in certain ways of being. The change we need begins as an internal one that it expresses itself to the outside... it cannot just a surface appearance doing of things on the outside. It just cant be and i refuse to believe it. Edit: But i will say this as i am being fully transparent. My experience has shown me that what you are calling "freedom" is by far the exact opposite. The Christian message is still a beautiful and saving one from what i can gather, and just because individuals can spurn you while like me-- attempting to call themselves Christian or while attempting their best to properly interpret things (theyre only human); it doesnt mean that you have to select an opposite extreme as your solution away from them. If you were outside the flesh, would you truly direct it to do such frivolous things with inevitable internal consequences? If the answer is no, then did you ever truly exercise your own freedom when you chose those things? The sane question can apply to Mark Driscoll's message in fairness--i dont think God made billions of individuals to grow ideally in that one way he advises. Many have tried and many have failed as a result of even doing it.

Family courts that are hostile to men and that have essentially enslaved men and given the authority to women is the source of the problem. Until that's fixed, the dysfunction will only get worse. ALL because these men were raised by their mothers WITHOUT a father. I was one of them. Born in 1980 coddled by my mother while my father was belittled and removed. I ended up a homeless alcoholic drug addict and by the grace of God finally grew up. I am now the father of 2 children and am doing everything I can with the help of Jesus Christ to take care of them and their mother. Someday I will rekindle the relationship with my mother when she is done hating men.

Nah, imo youre just hearing a nice monologue--a good man's opinion about how he wants society to be and what he thinks will save many. I THINK dissenting voices and comments are deleted here too and so you only receive this one man's well spoken opinion with very little apparent counter opinion(and they dont need to be combative or aggressive commebts to be deleted either). I say that he may be boiling down and distilling virtue to his own narrow path. And though I respect his point of view, peoples' experiences show that he clearly hasnt stumbled upon a panacea. The path he mentioned has not protected many people from spiritual or even earthly ruin. Those who are neither prepared nor compatible with it have made systems dysfunctional and dreadful. Those who are compatible with it often become bullies of those who they consider weak or those who God would have likely fulfilled had they simply gone a different route. I assume that this mah's advice backfires often only because for many the motivation to act on this kind of advice is based on a belief and fear of the world rather than a Faith in one's own sufficiency and dependence in God. Im not saying that he is wrong at all, but maybe that the well-adjusted life he has won is not the goal, but rather the symptom of doing things right on the inside. If it is the goal before God... well that becomes idolatry and worship of the god of this world: Satan... doesnt it? Maybe im wrong, but i still want this side of the story to be considered. I believe i had something more worthy to say on the matter and though i didnt even necessarily disagree with the sermon, my comment was promptly removed. I also assume this one will be removed too. All i have to ask you is did Jesus Himself do what was recommended here? In fact... did He Himself even recommend something like this for others to follow? And is He not the leading authority in that Book?

So proud of all all my kids, but in the context of this video, my boys. My older son (26) "launched" maybe a little earlier than we expected. He hasn't been other than a visitor at "home" since his freshman year of college- worked in another state all college summers, then went full time there when he graduated. When the pandemic measures caused him to be laid off, he did "gig" work and then found a job in his field 2 states from where he was. Now he is married and doing very well. My younger son (18) does welding school 1/2 the day and works the other half. Lately, we have been talking to him about saving so he can buy a house by about 21. Good young men are out there. I see it in many of my community's sons as well.

Mark, agree 100%. However, there is one catch. For the life of me I cannot find a woman worth marrying. I've searched high and low yet here I am alone. It's one bitter pill to swallow realizing there is no prize (wife and family) after dedicating so much blood, sweat, and tears preparing myself to be a good father and husband. Not here to complain as I've given in the towel, but I'm fed up with only hearing that it's men's fault. Are women ever held accountable!?

After being unjustly shut down at the 2024 men’s conference by the head pastor, I not only feel burdened for the men of the future, but feel the calling to promote and implicate these disciplines in my life. I won’t allow myself or my children to be castrates by a wicked culture. Don’t grow weary in doing good, Pastor. Us as men cannot tolerate or compromise. We cannot be dominated.

4 and a half years ago I was drunk unemployable and a terrible father. To the point I had my kids taken away from me. Around that time I decided to get Sober. Fast forward to today I have primary custody of those kids, I have had a child since then and am also a step father of 6. I got sober for myself (it's a selfish program that's the way it has to be) but I'd be lying if a lot of that wasn't also for my children. I am not a perfect man I still fall short, I still have to pray for forgiveness and guidance, but the reward of being a present and caring father is immeasurable.

It’s two way street, I’m a single father with full custody and I refuse to date ever again as much as I’d like to I simply don’t trust anyone to be involved in my child’s life after the last few relationships including her mother so I’m tapping out just being a dad and trying to focus on building my empire and teach these lessons onto my daughter. The culture is rotten and depravity is celebrated. You make some good points but feel like you’re missing why all these things are happening it’s no “anomaly” or coincidence it’s by design

That is why it is called the Satanic Six, it is by design. Satan wants to completely destroy every pure and good thing. He revels in the pain, and the mental and spiritual destruction of humanity. As God has given us free will and we are sinful, then Satan uses that weak spot or spots to decemate us to thumb his nose and God and laugh. However, his time is even shorter now and he knows it. It will get worse. Prayer is protection.🌼

If we handed this generation the economic opportunity of 50 years ago where a guy could have a full time job and provide for his family with kids and get a nice pension and retire around 60 years old I strongly believe we would see the youngest generation launch much more successfully than we see now. We can't hand the youngest generation the economic mess of the past 20 years and expect them to have comparable results to previous generations. I say that as someone who finished college in 2001 and got out and got started in life in just the nick of time. I'm so glad my generation had a better launching pad than the current generation.

Lol. Yeah blaming men for women being lesbians. Sorry, 80% of women think they DESERVE the top 10% of men. Modern women are raging narcissists and have destroyed their ability to pair with their promiscuity by the time they graduate college. With the cash and prizes award system the feminist courts set up, women file 80% of divorces. 90%, if they have a degree. It's a suicide pact for even the most alpha of males. Transgenderism and lesbianism is a direct result of the feminist movent. By reversing the gender roles for decades that is of course going to manifest in a very literal and physical sense where women will think they're men and men will think they're women.

I have had a lot of younger men tell me that they wouldn’t comit to a disabled person. for life.
