This is what happens when you take FULLSIZE trucks through the Rubicon JEEP Trail!!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I don't think I will ever be bored coming up to the Rubicon. The high sierras are quite honestly one of my favorite places on earth. Mixing camping, the high sierra, good friends and trucks and you have a recipe for an amazing week. Come along as we take several first timers through the Con, talk about what makes it so great, and fix our junk along the way!

We've run Rubicon over 20 times since 1990 with a 78 CJ,304 T18,411 GEARS,31 WRANGLER RT TIRES,one piece axles, and only a Trak loc in rear.Having a spotter that knows what he's doing is why WE have made this run so many times (Barret,Sierra Trek,Rubicon)so much fun.Watching people with 50000 Jeeps with their lockers and no driving skills is entertaining. Get a competent spotter and it will take the stress and damage out of the equation. We take 3 days on our Rubicon trips because fishing and camping makes it so much better, good luck
Watching the full sized rigs is pretty cool. Especially the four door Chevy and GMC. I have a well built Cherokee if there is a chance of my son and I tagging along.

Whoa, you all Completed the Rubicon with minor damage with Full sized! Impressive! I enjoyed the video. Yes, good point the off road community carries good camaraderie. I live on the east coast and I’m building a trail rig. I’m taking a work sabbatical next summer and hitting west coast parks and trails. It’s my lifelong dream. If I find a group hitting the Rubicon. I just may join in.

Amen brother! I get tired of all the gear reviews and roof top tent and over landing BS. You guys nailed it with this. Yea, why do we spend all this money on tires and parts, why do we spend all the time fixing and wrenching on our rigs? Is it to look cool on Instagram or KZread or is it for the sake of four wheeling! This is it man. Love it.
Awesome I love all the different rigs! We are headed to do some trails this weekend in Colorado. We shall see how bad it is with the snow!

I love your off road videos. I’m trying to make some on my k5 as well
Totally bad ass. I know mine is only 1/2 ton axles, but I’ll still be able to get to places I’ve wanted to go. Then if the 1/2 ton axles fail to many times I’ll do 60’s. Awesome video 👍🏻

Exactly! No need to build it until you know what is gonna break. If you plan on going much larger than 35’s you will start having some issues but careful driving you can manage. In short, don’t bounce the truck up obstacles!!

Lol. I wish. I do love Cali though. Everyone seems to think that Cali is just LA and the Bay Area. It is so much more. Mt Whitney, Yosemite, the lost coast, Mojave desert, the sierras, Lake Tahoe.
