Would have liked to include audio from the match so you guys could hear how I was communicating. But there happens to be a rooftop bar at the stadium and the camera was picking up the music they were playing. So because of copyright issues had to just mute the camera's audio.

I liked the commentary because I can watch this with my 10yr old son so he can learn what the keeper should/shouldn’t do in game situations.

I've used a lot of your goalkeeper tips in the past 2 years and it has made me a better keeper definitely. Thanks to your help I'm now on the A team after being on the C team for many years and have had two trials for a youth academy for a pro club. Great tips. 4:12 this mistake by the defender is so common and frustrating. I don't know how to get defenders to understand that they don't always have to rush the ball. Guarding the striker that's alone in front of the goal is way more important. They don't get it even after they get violated like this. You handled it amazingly.

Hey tyler, on minute 6:21 I would say that you could have passed it to your 6 and then your 6 could have played it out wide. It's just an idea but i don't know if you had the angle thank you I love your videos keep them up.

hey tyler, i’ve got a question for you. this year i have been playing middle school soccer/football (whatever you wanna call it.) but i’ve been using spineless gloves, and i’m just wondering what you would recommend for next year as i will be playing more varsity. i just want to know if it would benefit me to have finger saves against kids who can shoot with more power. thanks

No, I went through the same thing a couple years back its best to stick with spineless gloves, use tape instead.

Yeah, I'm not a big believer in finger saves. I find them to make it a lot more difficult to hold shots and honestly the times I've broken my fingers the ball hit them straight on which finger saves wouldn't have even helped with.

Ok, I’ve never played keeper let alone played football, but I’ve always thought that with penalties since they are close is it more a guessing game? Or is it keeper reacting to make the save, is it both? I genuinely would like to know.

Hey Tyler I had question I am a 13 year old keeper here in Canada I am playing with a team that is not my level but I am there number 1 option but I am getting an offer to play at a higher level but only play goalie for 45 min and another goalie plays for the other 45 mins because here in Canadian youth soccer you can change your goalkeeper in half time should I accept the offer

I’m not Tyler but I would recommend accepting the offer. I did a similar thing this year and 45 min of a higher level is better than 90 min of a lower level
