This is how I get everything ready for a breakfast shift | Así me preparo para desayunos 🥚🍳🥞🍞🧀

Ойындар

Hi, in this video I show you How do I set up my items and prep some food and gravy, it is simple since I been doing it for about 4 years, I know this is not a 5 star restaurant and we dont pretend it... However I know some items are frozen and ready to serve.

I worked as a cook in a dinner house that did a great brunch business and I cooked eggs. On Mother’s Day we did 900+ covers and virtually every order had eggs. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omelets and Eggs Benedict. It was insane and I loved it. I remember that the omelet batter had cottage cheese in it which made them fluffy with a bit of tang. We finished the omelets under a salamander and they had no browning on them. I still make them the same way.

I work at a little breakfast bistro in my town and it’s only open 6 hours a day. We get absolutely crushed sometimes. We do homemade cornbread, homemade hollandaise sauce, homemade salsa packed with different peppers and so much more. I love cooking breakfast. I never get tired of it.

Comfort food is comfort food, people have to expect diner's or places that serve diner like foods to have a lower standard sometimes, as long as everything is safe to eat and is cooked to how the customer wants it, i say it's fine. I been learning to cook more on the regular for me and my guardian so maybe i can step up from a janitor job to a cooking job, i find it fun to see how much i improved and his enthusiasm with what i could actually make, or attempt to make. At the very least, we save money and have home cooked meals almost daily ever since his mother passed away, so since it's just us 2, i wanted to bring some life back into the home and give us a natural way to talk and bond. Thank you for your video's to give me inspiration to try and make cozy, comfort food. Good food means alot to someone's mind and well being.

I worked as a cook in a dinner house and we would do 300-400 covers at lunch every weekday. We would start with three cooks then one would leave after the first rush to prep and then the other would leave to do the same and I would finish. The restaurant was located near the courthouse and it was incredibly busy, but at dinner not so much. One night we had eight covers.

Great and fast prep work!. Only issue I see is using hot tap water to do the powder mix at 14:25. Well, because your hot water from the tap can contain contaminants. If you didn't realize this, you're not alone. Hot water systems like tanks and boilers contain metallic parts that corrode as time goes by, contaminating the water. Hot water also dissolves contaminants in pipes faster than cold water.. Hot water is a no no in F&B due to contaminants. Always use boiled water from cold.
