A recent private payroll survey showed that companies hired fewer workers than expected. That means less jobs are available.
And where do people go when they can’t find a job? The gig economy.
That means that apps like DoorDash and UberEats could go from already saturated to VERY crowded.
So how long will this last?

Uber eats was a waste of time for me, after the time I spent and gas that I used those cheap bastards could pick up their own damm food.

It's not inflation, it's corporate greed.
I'm a dasher I don't go by their schedule, it will depend on the time of day when it's busy that they will post a schedule in your area. I'll only drive when it's good for me not them. They alway say drive when you want to but yet they always try to get you to drive on their schedule. 😅

I don't see this as a problem with Doordashers. They only allow a certain number of drivers per zone anyway.

True that would limit saturation. If unemployment picks up it could hurt demand though.

If youre at 70% pickup rate. U can dash anytime. So many people have no idea what u should or should not take.

@@davebrickley4557 To be a top dasher you need more than just 70% acceptance rate ( there is no such thing as pickup rate with doordash ). But very few people have an acceptance rate that high where I live anyway.

@@Gignation It could but I have not seen a trend like that where I live. I prefer to be an optimist anyway.
Gas prices went down 6 percent on average. The cost of oil went down 35 percent. We are being played.
