Tim and his family still now own the Chateau. He was pestered by estate agents and the price they told him it would sell at, he felt it worth marketing, but it has never sold.

Loved the colour on the walls and the bedding. Some of the furniture is not to my taste, but that’s just personal preference and can be changed to suit the owner. I would be interested in this if I had the money. It would be a great place to have an artist’s seminar, as there is much to photograph and paint, from maybe April-October, or a smaller wedding, or a family holiday, or a meditation retreat. I guess it would depend on the local laws regarding income property.

all the swimming pools at these sites always look too modern- they stand out like a sore thumb...they should try to fit in better- maybe cobble stone or matching terraces, etc.- with plants around...maybe to look more pond like.

Yes indeed its a stunning house when you consider the decoration but what about the annual cost ?? The environment and the garden spot make the value of this house . I rather look for in a cooler region, in Limousin

Prices fluctuate. When a property sells, as is the case here, the final negotiated price differs from the offer price. As this vidoe is seen internationally the price changes almost daily due to currency fluctuations. You may have also noticed this listing is over 18 month old. The property is no longer on offer. There are also instances where the seller does not wish to publicize the on offer pricing. It is for all of the above reason why listing the on offer price is moot. The information is simply unreliable within a day..... let alone 18 months in the future. Additionally, serious buyers do their due diligence on properties they short list. When shopping for properties of this caliber, the purchase price is often a secondary or even the last consideration. Often times the initial investment, running costs and daily maintenance of such properties exceeds the purchase price within the first year.
