It's nearly the same, the but yes :)

Does the same apply for Audio clips? If you have a guitar in your hand, for instance? E.g. want to record a fixed length of 16 bars (audio), can you start it with the foot pedal as you demonstrated? Great video!

@@pushpatterns how about the idea of recording, with a 1 bar quantize, and then hitting the pedal again at some point, which would then end the recording on the next bar. That sound right?

How do you do the no hands on push2? you mentioned it was possible, but I can't find the trigger button

There are two pedal inputs on the Push2. 1 is for sustain and the other is for trigger. I just can remember which one is which but they arefixed and you can change so just try each input.

New to Ableton and learning it. I was thinking of getting a used push 2 but little things like having to bounce about or be locked to a specific fixed bar count is annoying. I think ill just sell a kidney and get the 3 after seeing this.

Yes this is annoying but apparently if you upgrade to live 13 you can now access this view on the Push 2 😮

Figured since i was just starting i'd go for the 3 with the ability to upgrade to standalone eventually and no sticky residue to worry about always hated tpu covered enclosures @@pushpatterns

@@pushpatterns I had suite, then sold it becuase I was getting frustrated with it, now after revamping my "needs" and such, thinking of getting standard again

Standard is a great option as your not limited by any track or scene counts like in intro. You can always upgrade to Suite in the future if you miss it :)

Not only Push 3, it also works on Push 2 with Ableton 12....
